Happy new year! I am sorry if I haven't posted pictures recently but it's been hectic! Anyways, Teavana is still winding down operations here on Promenade Temecula, unlike Simon and GGP owned centers where Teavana remains open this location will soon close, I am hoping that Promenade Temecula will get a new Auntie Anne's or even better, a Cinnabon to open in this location but I wouldn't hold my breath...

I’ve come to the realization that this series is very off! I believe I’ve bought more capsules and got less than Series 1. Lots of pizzas and Cinnabons!
If you saw my last post of "Stacked Cookies" well this is what I did with them!
You all know the delicious Cinnabon rolls right ?...you know the ones you can get( smell) at the mall with all of that gooey icing !
Has anyone used the Cinnabon syrup or cinnamon sprinkle yet ?
I bought some at my grocery store a while back and have been wanting to add it to some batter so I added it to Cookie batter and icing!
Take your favorite Sugar cookie recipe and replace the flavoring with 2-3 Tbs of Cinnabon syrup and I also added 6 Tbs of the cinnamon sprinkle...yep all to the batter!
I then chilled the dough for a couple hours( cause I had to go out a bit) then I rolled it into 1 inch balls and slightly flattened.
Follow your recipes baking instructions and let cool!
My cookies have a nice crunch when you bite them but then are soft and chewy!
Now of course these don't taste just like the Cinnabon's but they do have a delicious flavor!
For the Frosting /Filling
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. butter, softened
4 Tbsp. Cinnabon cinnamon roll syrup
1 Tbsp. Cinnabon cinnamon roll sprinkle topping
pinch of salt
4 c. powdered sugar
Cream the butter and shortening until light.
Add the salt, sprinkle topping, and syrup and beat until fluffy. Slowly add the powdered sugar until all is mixed in.
Spread the cookies with as much or as little frosting as you like.
Spread some between two cookies to make a sandwich cookie.
Sprinkle the tops of the frosted cookies with sprinkle topping if desired.
Or delicious just plain!

This is a recipe I found on Ezra Pound Cake for no-yeast cinnamon rolls. They couldn't be more easy and fun to make! They don't turn out like a cinnamon roll from, say, Cinnabon, they have a more cake-like texture, but they sure are tasty and an awesome breakfast to wake up to!

I took Darek to my discovery of the Palm Springs Railroad Station this morning. We took a few photos and then picked up Cinnabons on our way home. We spent the rest of the day relaxing on this his last vacation day. It's been nice having him home.

Okayy, now that its 10:36 PM I can do this description! Haha!
So school was okay today actually! I wore a preddy dess to school and lots of people said I looked super cute! =D And remember how I was upset cause I was missing a lot of science labs?! I did THREE of them in extra help!! I was sooo prould of myself and soo was Baker!! =D [If you don't know, Mrs. Baker, is my science teacher! The BESTEST science teacher. EVER.]
Anywho! Track was fun too! I flew through the warm up mile, then me and some friends ran in the woods for 30 minutes! =D It was really fun!
I took a shower, ate some yummy dinner, and went off to Bible study. I was kind of upset, to see that their were a lot of random people there =/ Because, we're not supposed to bring "new" people to Caimpers, just to club. And, it just annoys me of how many people are.....They have two lives, so to speak. They act like they care in Young Life, but a lot of kids don't. Not only do they sin, but they're preddy big sin's. Like having sex. A lot. And just being so obsessed in a relationship that they just need to be siting next to their girlfriends =P *Sigh* Oh well, nothing I can do but pray for them =/
Sorry for the long description tonight guys! I like telling you about my life XD
Someone I really care about, and love is fake friending me. He dosen't care about me at all and I want to cry, because it hurts! We were such awesome friends, and now he dosen't care, and it hurts to just be....Thrown away like that =/ It makes my heart hurt....
Again. Nothing I can do but pray =/
And lets give a big THANK YOU to my very best friend JAIMIE BORNEMAN for giving me all her chapsticks! Because only three of thoese above are mine! XD I couldn't have done it with out her n_n <3

Auntie Anne's Pretzels at the Temecula Promenade, this location once served soft serve and frozen custard but hasn't for almost 2 years or so which explains why half the restaurant is empty, located directly downstairs is Wetzel's Pretzels which has 2 locations, the other is a kiosk upstairs By JCPenney and the center court, a Cinnabon would fit nicely in this vacant half though.
