Gate beyond the bushes, captured with my Sony A7S II and an adapted vintage Ciné-Kodak Anastigmat 102mm f/2.7 S-Mount lens.
Shot with my work's Sony A7R II and my Bausch & Lomb 26mm F1.9 C-mount lens. I used a Fotodiox C-mount to E-mount adapter to mount the lens and the camera's APS-C crop mode to reduce vignetting. I really love the retro looks I can get with this setup!
Today I experimented with a few bits and bobs I found buried at a bottom of one of my closets... A fairly obsolete Olympus micro four third PL1 camera and an eighty years old Cooke Kinetic f1.5 Cine lens. I am quite pleased with this clip which I shot with the lens fully open (f1.5). It gives a powerful soft vignette effect, not unlike a real perspective control lens....
Today I shot this portrait using an 80 years old cine lens, the Taylor Taylor & Hobson Cooke Kinic 1 inch lens, fully open at f1,5, no flash, daylight white balance. Test shots from the Taylor, Taylor, and Hobson Cooke Kinic 25mm f/1.5 C mount cinema lens.
Shot on Panasonic Lumix G9, no cropping.
This lens produces a very nice Petzval-like bokeh on m4/3 cameras and achieves full sensor coverage.
