Das Schloss liegt nur wenige Hundert Meter von der Landesgrenze zu Niedersachsen und südwestlich des Friedländer Ortsteiles Mollenfelde des Landkreises Göttingen und des Neu-Eichenberger Ortsteils Hermannrode im Werra-Meißner-Kreis.

The McDougall Memorial United Church is a one-storey building located on the north bank of the Bow River, roughly two kilometers east of Morley. The church was constructed in 1875 in the Carpenter's Gothic style and features pointed arch windows and front door, shingled front-gabled roof, and a central steeple crowned by a pinnacle. The designation also includes the archaeological remains of mission structures at the site.

I have driven through the town of Grass Valley on US-97 in Oregon many times, but never noticed this old church on the lot behind the newer, and frankly much less interesting Church. Anyway, pulled over a couple of blocks further, and walked back to take pictures. No windows or doors, and the inside had been cleared out.

It was an unforgettable session with a perfect morning light. I've been waiting for this day for several months, thinking about the cadres I wanted to do.
There are only a few places at the church where you can use a wide-angle lens. In a few photos I used the Hitech ND 0.9 Grad Soft filter (85x110), and some of the photos I took from the tripod and hand in places where I could not use a tripod.
Such an unusual moment, in addition to the uniqueness of the mood of peace and quiet during this session was an unexpected meeting. When I quietly moved around the church taking photos - suddenly I heard somebody was running (on a steep road from stone blocks) and the conversation of two people (father and son) and their loud breaths (the church is on the hill and it was very early) - their surprise that this time of the day someone is photographing in this place was immeasurable and unforgettable.
