Chronicle Building was first planned in 1917. The final building that remains standing today was designed by G.A. Pehrson in downtown Spokane and completed in 1928.
Cowles continued to operate the papers independently until ad sales and back-end operations were combined in the 1980s. The sports staffs were combined in 1981 and news staffs in 1983.[4] The Chronicle was shut down in 1992 after 111 years in operation and more than 26,000 editions printed.[5] The landmark building remained in use as an office building before being converted into apartments.
Spokane's economy has traditionally been natural resource based—heavily dependent on extractive products produced from farms, forests, and mines—however, the city's economy has now diversified to encompass other industries, including the high-tech, healthcare, and biotech sectors. 212

This is my sanctuary, the place I return to each week without fail. It's more than just a park; it's a living journal of the year, and I have the privilege of being a regular chronicler.
Looking at this image, I can feel the chill in the air and see the subtle, inevitable surrender of summer. The water, usually a vibrant blue, has taken on this deep, moody green, mirroring the heavy, dramatic clouds overhead. The trees—my favorites—are beginning their magnificent transformation. The canopy is still mostly a deep, dusty green, but here and there, a fiery splash of gold and burnt orange erupts, a promise of the vivid spectacle to come.
I love watching the seasons change here. Every seven days, a new detail reveals itself: the lily pads growing thicker, then fading; the first crisp leaf to hit the water; the light shifting its angle, making the same view feel completely new. This weekly pilgrimage lets me connect with the slow, powerful rhythm of nature. It's not just a beautiful view—it's a reminder that nothing ever truly stands still.

"The rockets came like locusts, swarming and settling in blooms of rosy smoke. And from the rockets ran men with hammers in their hands to beat the strange world into a shape that was familiar to the eye, to bludgeon away all the strangeness, their mouths fringed with nails so they resembled steel-toothed carnivores, spitting them into their swift hands as they hammered up frame cottages and scuttled over roofs with shingles to blot out the eerie stars, and fit green shades to pull against the night.”

“The Men of Earth came to Mars. They came because they were afraid or unafraid, because they were happy or unhappy... They were coming with small dreams or large dreams or none at all...it was not unusual that the first men were few. There was comfort in numbers. But the first Lonely Ones had to stand by themselves...”

I was commisioned to do a concept image for Fox Studio's upcoming feature "Chronicle". The only thing photoshopped in post was the levitating truck (and the faux tilt shift of course). Head over to the Blog where I have addition images and information.

Konoa is from the high peaks of Ko-koro, traversal in such harsh snow storms and rough terrain can prove quite difficult unprepared, so he has goggles, pouches with extra supplies, a lightstone, a long-handled ice pick and vibrant body paint, making it easier to see and be seen.
(Colour scheme inspired by the Ko-toran from the bionicle fan comic "Reminiscence")
I've decided to start a story blog for my new RP character.

• A ribbon of earth where sea meets land,
Windswept cliffs and dunes of sand.
The gulls cry out, the salt air sings,
Footsteps echo where the tide line clings.
Wildflowers nod in the ocean breeze,
And secrets whisper through ancient trees.
Each bend reveals a shifting view
Sky and sea in endless blue.
The path is narrow, time runs slow,
Where land remembers waves below.

There are estimated to be 700 to 1,000 British-era cemeteries across India that contain the remains of the men, women - and very often children - who died during the days of colonial era. Hundreds of graveyards containing the remains of soldiers, officials and adventurers who served in British India are on the verge of being lost forever. Although 585,202 deaths and burials of British citizens are recorded but there are many unrecorded graves across the India. Besides the British, there were other European citizens (French, Portuguese, Greek, Dutch etc.) who departed their lives in India and were buried here during the colonial era. Approximately, 20,00,000 European citizens are resting in peace in Indian subcontinent.
According to writer Rudyard Kipling, death was always a 'near companion' in colonial India. The tropical climate with its humid hot weather, unknown fever & illness and childbirth was the reasons of the death at that time. A significant number of records are found for death causing by lightening. Among the women, childbirth was the common reason for death at that time. Death of infants was also a very high in those days.
All such old cemeteries are the open chronicle of colonial era. The grave stones tell the story of those lost lives who came to India for their dream but failed to return to their mother land.

(Swedish: Krönikebrunnen) Sculpture in bronze, made in 1939 by Nils Sjögren. Situated in the Big Square (Swedish: Stortorget) in Skara city.
Somewhat neglected and disregarded, this partially incomplete massive monument sits on a hill near Tbilisi. It features bigger than life tableaux with Jesus Christ, Kings and Queens and chronicles Georgia's history.

Hexham Bridge is a road bridge in Northumberland, England linking Hexham with the North Tyne valley. It lies north of the town of Hexham and is the main access to the A69 bypass.
The Tyne was crossed by two ferries called the east and the west boats. As a result of persistent agitation, a bridge was started in 1767 and completed in 1770. It was built by Mr Galt and consisted of seven arches. Less than a year later it was swept away in the great Tyne flood of 1771. In that flood, eight bridges shared the fate of Hexham. In 1774 a new attempt was made 46 metres to the west by Mr Wooler, an engineer who had been working on the new Newcastle bridge. Piles were sunk to carry the piers but work was abandoned on discovering that the "soil beneath the gravel was a quicksand with no more resistance than chaff". This first bridge, Hexham Old Bridge, was about 2 km upstream of the present bridge.
The authorities next approached John Smeaton, whose name as an engineer was famous. Henry Errington of Sandhoe was given the contract for the sum of £4,700, and work started in 1777. Although the half-completed piers were washed away the following year, work continued and the new bridge was opened to traffic in 1780. The Newcastle Chronicle, Saturday 8th July 1780 had "Saturday last, the passage along the New Bridge over Tyne at Hexham was opened, the Most Noble Errington was the first that passed it, who made a handsome present to the workmen." However, on 10 March 1782, there was a heavy fall of snow followed by a violent hurricane. The valleys of the north and south Tyne were inundated and the nine arches were completely overturned. They are still visible and act as a sort of weir. Robert Mylne, a famous architect and engineer, was called in to report on the feasibility of rebuilding Smeaton's bridge. He was eventually given the contract to build a fourth bridge, and the work was completed in 1793. It is listed as a Grade II* building by Historic England.
this is where i introduce two new characters, arrow, and cape.arrow is the one that is in the in the air.he's part bat and part hedgehog, cape is actually an unknown character because is face is usually covered by a cape, but he is the enemy of team wilderness in my comic diamond chronicles where cyleit, arrow, wilder, beauty, and one of my other characters forest trys to get the lost 11 diamonds in the world.and cape isn't helping he is causing trouble for everyone on cyleit's planet just to get his hands on a diamond!as you can see in the picture cape has gotten hold of a diamond and arrow is trying to get it back with one of his magical arrows.cyleit is just standing there shocked.cyleits planet is actually called "mixed" because all the life forms are animals combined.but can talk and what not.the reson this group is called wilderness because everyone in cyleits group has something to do with wilderness.and because forest is the last angel/hedgehog on the planet and cyleit and her friends are protecting her.her friends get only 6 of the diamonds and cape gets the rest.which is only five!so cyleit and her friends succeed.
sorry about the long description.
arrow:me and my cousin
cyleit:me
cape:me
forest:me
wilder:my cousin and me
beauty:me and my other cousin.
