25 of 25 Days of Christmas
Merry Christmas to all of my Flickr friends. I was unable to finish my 25 days of Christmas this year due to a family emergency but I am able to wish you all a Merry Christmas and we can hope for a happier new year. :)
Hello there! I hope all is well my friends! The Christmas season is really a wonderful time of year. It always inspires me to decorate really glam and over the top spaces. (Which actually is still the norm for me LOL) I am starting off this month and Christmas season Featuring Apple Fall and Jian. Two of my favorite stores! I wanted a lush Christmas space with deep greens and gold everywhere! I added a ton of Gold baubles and ornaments and decor that fit the mood I was going for. Another year of turmoil, stressful and even tragic for some. Let us hope for something a lot more joyful in 2022, although I do remember hoping for the same thing last year.
Again, thank you all for your visits, faves and comments throughout the year. I love the feeling of community and friendship within Flickr and it is a privilege to be part of this worldwide family. I just wish I had a little more time to post, this year has been worse than last - sigh.

This Christmas Tree is in Salisbury Cathedral Close. Salisbury Cathedral, formally known as the Cathedral Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, is an Anglican cathedral in Salisbury, England, and one of the leading examples of Early English architecture. The main body was completed in only 38 years, from 1220 to 1258.
The cathedral has the tallest church spire in the United Kingdom (123m). Visitors can take the "Tower Tour" where the interior of the hollow spire, with its ancient wood scaffolding, can be viewed. The cathedral also has the largest cloister and the largest cathedral close in Britain at 320,000 m2. The cathedral contains the world's oldest working clock (from AD 1386) and has the best surviving of the four original copies of the Magna Carta (all four original copies are in England). Although commonly known as Salisbury Cathedral, the official name is the Cathedral of Saint Mary. In 2008, the cathedral celebrated the 750th anniversary of its consecration in 1258.
The cathedral is the Mother Church of the Diocese of Salisbury and seat of the Bishop of Salisbury, the Rt Revd Nick Holtam.
this is the tree in my town's center square.. wanted to see if i could get some good bokeh shots, but only had a few minutes to play around.. i liked how bright the glow was around my figure from the whole dispaly of lights.. i never thought to try night shots because of my lack of equipment..but i am inspired to play some more..
