There was a time when I couldn't abide anything Christmas before Thanksgiving. Now, it seems the weeks fly by so quickly that December 25th comes and goes in the blink of an eye.
So when the invitation for an open house at a local boutique announced their hours last night and today, I ventured out!

Bought one Christmas gift for an out-of-towner,
and an irresistible ornament for our "all white room" . . .
Gobble Gobble Gobble . . . I'm guilty . . . and haven't even had any stuffing yet!

We call today Little Christmas Eve (December 23.). This evening my kids are coming to stay for the Christmas days.
I am serving Beef Wellington and we all will be cheerful - how could we not 😍
The next morning they will find their Christmas socks filled with nice things.
In the evening of this day, we call it Christmas Eve, is the day we celebrate with a nice meal (reindeer) and presents. Santa Claus is coming to our grandkid, she is on the Nicest List ❤😂
First Christmas Day we call the next day and all my kids and grandkid will have a nice long breakfast and it all will be peaceful and nice.
A nice meal on the end of this first day concludes our Christmas celebration.
Leftovers and enjoying the company and the presents will be the following days and of course some hiking and Flickr updates 😂

You can buy clothing like sweaters, coats, hats, gloves, scarves, etc. in the market. And then, some things are just fun.
Snow was falling on the Chiricahua mountains on December 17, 2017 as we drove by. This was a family driving trip from El Paso, TX to Bisbee, AZ. As always, I found the mountains calling to me, and disappointingly I was not able to hike into them this time. However, I was able to capture this beautiful scene.
I love the bird silhouette in the clouds.
