Another classic at Thunderbeach. Not sure if it started as a '57 Chevy turned into a trike, or the other way around?

1971 Cb750 Chopper in the works K0 motor and frame.
In 2010 I finished it and rode it a few times then sold it, priorities change and the world moves on. It was fun to take a junkyard frame and motor and make something new.
Shot at Aberdeen Airport which is the busiest chopper airport in the world, I believe. These machines ferry the roustabouts and engineers on and off the oil rigs in the North Sea.
Gilbert riding a MkII Raleigh Chopper.
This vintage model is about 33 years old. My original bike (in 1972) was actually purple, but I bought this silver one in 1990 from a guy in Long Eaton. It had belonged to one of his kids and been well preserved in his garage. Everything about it is original, even the decals and red-line tyres.
In 2011 the iconic bike was displayed at a heritage exhibition in the showroom of Mercedes Benz of Nottingham where the guys kindly gave it a nice polish and a little oil. You can see it here; www.flickr.com/photos/dreamtargets/5504296156/

Came across this pic when looking through a box of old photos, taken by my brother Bob early eighties I think.
Unusual bike eh?
This a lego chopper that I built for the "55th Build Challenge...Rubber Side Down, Shiny Side Up!" at LUGnuts. I tried to give it a kind of "modern day showbike" -feel. Some of the details could be better IMO, but I think the overall look is really cool.

Spotted this chopper at the Västerhaninge shopping centre on Friday. Owned by Conny Fransson who was on his way to the big Harley meet with his girlfriend Elisabeth.
