It was a nice day Sunday, Steve wanted to go for a ride and I wanted to take some pics. I'm getting away from using the automatic settings on the camera so here are the results.Last minute attempts to get a female model were futile.

This is an amazing vintage nut meat chopper with red top, stainless steel blades and glass container. This device is so handy in chopping nuts, or coffee beans, to a fine grind making them the freshest for use in recipes and baking.
The chopper works by loading it with the nuts you wish chopped, then turning it upside down and grinding over your bowl.
It stands 5" high and is 2" in diameter at the mouth and 3" at its base. It has the Androck glass factory mark on the bottom and is also marked Made in Canada.

At this weekend we've visited the Nikon Solutions Expo in Essen (Germany). It was a really nice fair with some impressive workshops and live shootings.

This is the Biker Journalen (Norwegian biker magazine) chopper which is being built right now.. the building rules are about to change and with this bike the owner will try to be one of the first to get a custom built bike registered with the new rules.. I will make a leather seat, pinstripe and probably gold leaf it.. exiting project!
One of my Dads bikes... Photo from about 1965 or so.
This chopper had a small 'cube' passenger seat on the rear fender that was little more than a vinyl covered block of foam about the size of a brick. I burned my leg on that exhaust pipe if I didnt keep my knee out in traffic! At least I could lean back on the 'sissy bar' (I was about 6 or 7 at the time).
He had a battery operated string of lights he wrapped around the sissybar with some garland for his 'built in Christmas tree' during the Holidays.
