several weeks ago we did have a beautiful morning. I edited out all the house and street lights. There are some beautiful views from high above the ground. I may like living 7 floors up.
A girl in the supermarket viewing some magazines. While she was viewing the magazines I was taken pictures of her feet and sandals.

I just heard from my client and the billboard people are choosing this one, I think! Of couse it will have my client's company name and slogan on their somewhere. I'll take a photo of it up. There will be three different months in the next 6 months and three different locations! Goes up April 6th!!!
What are the things we choose in life? What are those
goals and destinations we pick? Those goals
that will guide us. That will help us map the way?
What is our choice at any given moment?
To run quickly toward the light at the end of the hallway?
Those simple choices of little children,
that happiness from small choices in the small moments
of life.
I choose to enjoy every moment. To enjoy the small things.
A smile, a touch, a gentle caress, the run of a joyful toddler.
These are the things that define my choice.
To grasp happiness in a single touch.

Quels sont les choix que nous faisons dans la vie ? Quels sont ces
objectifs et destinations que nous retenons ? Ces objectifs
qui nous guideront. Qui nous aideront à tracer le chemin ?
Quel est notre choix à chaque instant ?

Ces choix simples des tout-petits,
ce bonheur venu de petites décisions dans les petits moments

Je choisis de profiter de chaque instant. De savourer les petites choses.

As some of you know. I have been without a camera for some time now... each time I would think I was going to choose that next baby. A financial obstacle would always get in the way.
Awhile ago... a fellow Flickr friend made an incredibly generous offer to give me his old camera to use. Free of charge, no strings attached... at the time, I had politely declined. The offer alone was enough to bring a tear to my eyes.

I eventually decided to take him up on this wonderful offer... the camera arrived this past weekend. (and) I have a series of shots I did Sunday that I will post this week.
But first, I wanted to start my new Flickr life with a few photos featuring the camera itself... some of you may recognize it. Please check out his photostream. Brent and the rest of the gang in Winnipeg are quite special people.

As for my financial situation... things are much smoother now and I even have a camera I've been thinking about. But, right now, more than anything, I want to thank Brent for making it possible for me to get an early start on this.

A brief interlude in the rain allowed me a few minutes to capture the hire boats waiting to be chosen at Lake Edith just outside Jasper townsite. Funnily enough there were no boats on the lake.
