Here is a manly birthday card for this week's challenge: "Birthday week".
I find it so difficult to do a man's card. I tried to use stripes and manly colors.
The cupcake stamp is by Hero Arts... colored with Copic markers, the papers are KI from my stash. The card base is chocochip by SU, the greeting is also SU. The scalloped circles were cut with Nestabilities.
There's also a little bit of sewing around the square....

Atrasadíssima nas fotos, essa ainda é do inicio de setembro =x
Ai gente, sou apaixonada nesses vidrinhos de sorvetinho *0*
Tenho esse Etude a bastante tempo e achava que não cobriria sozinho, mas o esmalte de base não era totalmente no mesmo tom, por isso ficou um pouco manchado. Mas mesmo assim achei ótima a combinação, da próxima tentarei usa-lo puro.

- 1 camada de Mint Chocochip - Etude House
- 1 camada do roxinho da Colorama

Ingredientes: manteca, azúcar rubia, azúcar blanca, huevos, harina, polvo leudante, sal, cacao en polvo, chips de chocolate amargo, chips de chocolate blanco.

Spending all my evening in the kitchen making sweet things is the best way for me to leave troubles behind for awhile.
All my cakes have been done at midnight, that's the reason why I can't take photos under sunlight as I wish. Yellow light may change the real color of them a lil bit.
seriously, these babies are my weakness. yummy pancakes chocked full of mini chocolate chips, sprinkled with fresh strawberries and some powdered sugar? yes please!

My chocochip cookie dough topped with whipped cream, waffle, and fruit would have been prettier if I hadn't asked the girl to remove the cantaloupe chunks from it. Blech!

Dear Ny. Soes dan NCCers,
Waktu baca mau bikin soes week, pikiran jadi melayang beberapa belas
tahun yang lalu waktu aku baru lulus kuliah dan masih jadi
pengangguran. Biar anak perempuannya ga kebanyakan tidur, makanya sama
ibu aku diberdayakan untuk terima pesenan kue sus dari ibu-ibu
kompleks. Kayaknya waktu itu merana banget disuruh bikin kue sus, mana
cape kudu ngaduk pake sendok kayu dan telapak tangan kesakitan karna
mencet adonan untuk dicetakin.
Tapi kemaren kok rasanya senang banget waktu bikin, apalagi karna
bikinnya pake semangat pingin ngasih snack sore buat anak-anak.
Walaupun endingnya emaknya juga yang ngabisin, karna anakku ga suka
sama vlanya, sukanya makan kulitnya aja.
Sebenernya maksain bikin karna kemaren suamiku ada di rumah dan bawa
kamera DSLR barunya. Sekalian mau trial kamera baru.
Resep kulit dan resep vlanya aku pake resep yang udah beredar. Jadi
ngga aku posting lagi ya bu resepnya. Cuma pada vlanya aku tambahkan
coklat theys yang rasa strawberry yang aku beli waktu Tdt II minggu
kemaren.
Semoga berkenan dan bisa meramaikan soesweek ini. Foto-foto lainnya

Nestlé Toll House chocolate chip cookies, made from scratch to Cooking For Engineers's telling of the recipe.
I didn't count, so I don't know exactly how many are in this bag. Two or three dozen, approximately. It's the entire yield, minus the six I've eaten so far (three yesterday, three today).
Playing around with frames and wonky modern improvisational stitching with rotary cutter slash and sew... no measuring other than eyeballing it.All of these blue fabrics all came in a box of rainbow fabrics from my cousin. Blue is my favorite color and I wanted to use them but didn't know how to put them all together until today. Brown was a color in the challenge for the week:mint chocochip for the Summer of Color 2012. I used the mint green and kept thinking of my blues in my stash box. So I got a beige background and started cutting and stitching as I went. Wonky but in my opinion wonderful. I have another planned already.
