My brother, Chip, passed away 3 days ago on May 8. The next morning I started making an altar for him in my garden. Among many special deities & treasures from my time in Asia, there are many things here with much meaning from childhood; a tile from our swimming pool where we spent all of every summer, RCA Victor dog & much more. His favorite candy Reece's Pieces is here. I kept adding to it for hours, so it changes through the pix.

Nature at work as these fungi help break down the pile of wood chips left at the side of one of the paths in the Falkland Estate.
August was a busy month for the wood chipper--lots of people stopped by to see it and get photographed with it!
Chip & I met up with Ben at a local Nashville hotel (Loews) while checking out the Democratic Headquarters.
This photograph from January, 1991, shows a brand new, sparkling fish and chip range. Unfortunately, there is no mention of the chipper it had gone into. Something in the back of my mind says that many of these were by a maker called Ford.
A line-up of chips to be worn around your ankle while running a race. I wore one of these in today's Literacy Network 10k.
Bruce suggested a small crop on the right to elimiante some uninteresting glass. I thought the proportions wouldn't be as nice with this crop. Opinions are welcome.
Choc chip cookies baked with my daughter. Teaching her to bake, it's a useful skill to have. Used stone ground whole flour that is used for making Indian chappattis - gives a very nice texture to them and the taste is is unusually great. Photo takes under a white light with my OMD EM5 at 1/60 sec; f/2.8; ISO 500.
