Sunspire Vegan Carob Chips (grain sweetened)

::Ingredients:: whole grain malted barely and corn, fractionated palm kernel oil, carob powder, soy lecithin (added as an emulsifier).

::Please be careful with these especially with the soy...I used to not to tolerate them well but since my Elmiron has been kicking in I've been able to use them with no problem::

Chips and Vinegar

($8)

Notes: Thick-cut fries. Heavily salted. With malt vinegar (yay!). Not the greatest chips, however. They either went stale very quickly, or they were not thoroughly cooked through - some of the thicker wedges had that mealy, gritty texture on the inside. I liked the thinner, crispier pieces.

Report about Chip Stand

I had a terrific work out tonight...started out really full of energy and non stop all the way ...ran 9 miles.

On the way home all I could think of was spinach...and sweet red bell peppers.

With no salt chips.

Yes.I gave in to my craving. And that was dinner.

Bad...so bad.

But so good.

Recipe for the dip in The New Vegan...just add red bell pepper.

The streets around my hotel were filled with small shops which almost seemed to have popped up out of nowhere. Many of these may disappear as the area becomes more developed.

This morning Chips was seemingly alright, dustbathing, doing general chickening business. I hadn't given her her antibiotics at that point. About half an hour after I administered her Clavulox, I found her like this, but even less lively. Poor girl. Our vet said she had "no good bacteria" in her, so these antibiotics, though very necessary, take their toll. An hour and a half afterward I gave her some supplements/probiotics and she picked up a bit.

One day my brain will turn into one of these, it seems like I spend far to much time online.

Did I mention I went with family and it was the Disney Cruise?

doom day for potato! Not about turning into chips, but as im going to eat them!

This is one of the shots I got of Chipper. He is about to catch a frisbee which I missed getting in the frame. He got closer to me than I expected, but I kept on shooting. Still a good shot I think. Brian was kind enough to let me shoot with his Canon EOS-1D Mark II with the 70-200 2.8L. My 10D sure felt tiny when I had to give him his camera back and resumes shooting with my equipment.
