Day 80 of 366

I recently went digging my last year's photos for some old photos that I kind of forgot to publish. This one wasn't published because I already published two other alternate photos and it seemed a lot. Even though I would have preferred leaving more space on the right side of the photo, I still like it a lot.

First of many builds featuring the Chima Speedor Shell as a head.

More reworking.....

A fun Chima-SW mashup collaboration with Shelly Corbett Photography at the Toyphotographers.com California meetup back in April.

This is a "Brick Built Map" of the newest attraction at the LEGOLAND California Resort which opens May 25th!

For The Bricknerd Pirats and Buganeers contest - CREW

This Motley crew of Ne'er do wells were assembled by Captain Elrissa Leon - A lioness.

(3rd from the right) They sail the seas off the Chima Peninsula. Having forsaken their various tribes, they now prey on anyone foolish enough to come close to their frigate.

Left to Right

Rex - ships dogsbody! A fearsome fighter with a bite first ask questions later attitude. A more scurvy sea dog you'll not find.

"Powder" Ships Gunner and master of cannons don't mention brass monkeys to him...

Osmando Stretch -First Mate - opulently wealthy - a coward - who knew burying your head in the sand could be so useful for a pirate....

Crabby Jack - Has a complex about being a little shrimp but a cunning spy - he talks with the other sea creatures and shares info with the captain using claw Morse code clicks. always alert and has so far avoided Reza's cooking pot!

Captain Elrissa Leon - Cast out for her view on how she could run the tribe far better, ruthless and cunning - she has united all the creatures of Chima who don't fit in and they scour the seas searching for booty and do as they please!

Albert Greenscail - Ships Navi-gator - knows the oceans and inland waterways and bays like the back of his hand. A keen cartographer and marine biologist. a gentle soul despite his fearsome visage

Reza Scally - Ships cook and born survivalist - unpopular even among the Ratfolk of the Undercaves, he can make a meal out of literally anything... Whether you would want to eat it or not is another thing... Known to abandon ship prematurely on more than one occasion.

Bought some chima sets on sale. Not a big fan of chima but the wolf heads are ok for using in a fantasy world.

So welcome back the real wolfpack!;)

So I finally managed to get my hands on one of those chima heads to make this iconic ape.

It kinda bothers me that the greys don't match the sand blue on the face, but otherwise than that I'm satisfied. I wanted to post him with all the other rogues, but I'm still missing a few so I just went ahead.

Also what's up with DC and their gorillas, I still have to make a Solovar and Ultra-Humanite.

BTW: I also recently attended the Twenty One Pilots Bandito tour, and the visuals alone where amazing, highly recommend it.

Armor beast Werewolf! Starting from the Chima head, I built this armored beast. I'd like to make an animal team, I should have some other head somewhere...

One last photo from my winter's chima shots.

Left to RIght

Steel: Silver Helmet, Zane Head, Chima Armor?, Electrical Tape Cape, Empire Hoth Torso, Dark Gray Legs

Aqualad: Really impressed with this guy, Draco Hair, Jurassic World Head, Nexo Knight Torso, Dark Blue Legs

CW Atom: So the SDCC Atom was pretty disappointing. I decided to make one that would do some justice. Dark Blue Helmet, Fred Head, Captain America Torso Flipped, Hank Pym Legs

When the Eagle Family gets bored of looking after Chi, they like to enjoy their vacations in their homemade Camping Car. Three people can comfortably sits inside.

Some say that Mr Eagle enjoy feel like a complete badass during this time..

These are my favorite Chima dudes: Furty and Skinnet. They look so adorable :D

One of the sensations of the cloud forest one does not forget easily is this "monkey face orchid", Dracula chimaera in situ, which is endemic (exclusive) from Colombia. Seen in situ during an 11 days tour I just guided in Valle del Cauca and Cauca departments.

Here's a quickie of a fig-barf from a month ago! I recently acquired some Chima figs from work and through natural causes, this super badass Sinestro fig came out of the woodworks!

For anyone that's read Forever Evil this should be a pretty recognizable scene from Issue #5. I won't spoil it for you, but it's super intense! :)

Not much to say about this one, but at any rate, there's a little bit of lighting info and post-edit images on Patreon if you wanna check 'em out! :)

I have not posted in a while. Having camera troubles. It keeps losing focus when on longer exposures despite being on a tripod. Never used to do this :( Anyway this is the best I could do for now.
