In spite of my height I have relatively small feet. It was quite a surprise when I found these combat boots in my size.

 

They are in much need of a polish however.

The Dogwood trees are full of berries. Fall is definitely in the air, with nights getting chilly enough for an extra blanket.

And yes the lucky competitor won the jackpot. Tracy was left with an envelope containing £5 and an envelope containing £100. She turned down a £75 offer and walked away with £100.

Despite the buzz of the city life around her—people milling in the background and pigeons wandering at her feet—she is absorbed in her own world. This is testament to the city dwellers' ability to create personal space amidst public chaos.
