A Mid-Upper Arm Circumference (MUAC) measurement activity was conducted in Tal-Etout-Salamieh, targeting six ECD facilitators and engaging 50 community members (25 males, 25 females). The objective was to enable the early detection of malnutrition and identify children at risk, while also guiding caregivers on how to monitor their children’s growth and nutrition.
This activity is part of Early Childhood Development (ECD), which aims to initiate initiatives, including Education Hubs and Community-Based Childhood Centers for children aged 3 to 18, and a Family Center for children aged 6 months to 3 years, focusing on cognitive, emotional, and physical development. This activity is funded and implemented by AKF.
