Award winning Indian Restaurant in Conwy.

Had a fantastic evening meal here.

Pre-booked in advance, as very busy.

Friendly staff, warm and cosy seating area, delicious hot and tasty food, plentiful portions, and very reasonable prices.

They serve a great variety of meals and desserts with soft drinks and coffee or tea.

If you require Alcohol, bring your own.

Summing up, a great place to visit if your in Conwy, definately recommend as you will not be disappointed.

5*

Give it a try !!!

[ To be honest on our long break in Conwy the food was a much higher standard than in our Hotel ] !!!! 😃

Thought For Food: Treating A Wonderful Neighbor To Pakistani-Indian Cuisine - IMRAN®

My wonderful neighbor always looks out for my home and mail when I’m away from Heron Pointe. To show my appreciation, I treated her to some incredible Pakistani-Indian cuisine at Saghar in Port Jefferson, Long Island, New York.

Back in mid-November 2024, I enjoyed another great meal, as I always do, at one of my go-to spots. But for my neighbor, it was an especially fantastic experience—discovering the rich flavors and warm hospitality that make this place special. As the owner and I reminisced, I reflected on nearly three decades of dining at his establishment, dating back to its early days as Curry Club in Stonybrook.

One of the standout dishes? This flavorful Chicken Tikka—succulent, marinated chicken, charred to perfection in a tandoor, delivering bold spice and smoky richness in every bite. A true taste of tradition.

the perfect end to a warm and sunny Bank Holiday Monday....

Mouthwatering and goes down great with a couple of hyper chilled Mahou Classics

... yum yum!

Superbly chef’d and presented on a red hot, cast iron sizzling platter that will barbecue your skin if you get too close to it.

Not just the prints...even your published pictures make you swoon with joy. I went through the same feeling when six of my pictures from my Food Porn set got selected by a UK based magazine "Henna" (november/december issue). I was just being lazy to take pictures of the magazine and post here :)

Henna Magazine is available at BORDERS and WATERSTONES in UK :)

On Sunday afternoon we went to Weatherspoons for our Sunday Dinner .

The Little Fella had a Cheese & Tomato Pizza with added Chicken and Ham with an Apple Juice

My Daughter had a Chicken Tikka Masala Curry plus a drink of lemonade and lime .

My Son-in-Law and Myself both had a Mixed Grill , washed down with a Non Alcofrolic Steel Artois lager . Plus I has a Peppercorn Sauce

So pleased I didn't have to cook that lot .

I love Sunday markets!

We had chicken tikka for lunch yesterday - and yes, it was absolutely delicious!!!

Needless to say, we ate far too much, so much so that we couldn't eat dinner...

Tak-a-tak is a term for a particular style of preparing food cooked on a huge tava, such as the one shown here, with the meat being chopped whilst frying, originating from Lahore's Androon Shehr, the old walled city, rather it's very common to this area.

A tandoor is a cylindrical clay oven used in cooking and baking. The tandoor is used for cooking in Azerbaijan, India, Turkey, Iran, Armenia, Georgia, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, the Balkans, the Middle East, and Central Asia, as well as Burma and Bangladesh. In this case two Seekh Kebab skewers and Chicken Tikka skewer are being cooked over the tandoor. The tandoor would also be used to cook Naan bread.

While the vast majority of the country grilled burgers and hot dogs for the 4th, I decided to cook some down-home Indian/Pakistani grub for my friends:

Muttar pulao (spiced rice with peas), cholay (spicy garbanzos, eaten as an appetizer), tikka kababs (marinated chicken breast pieces, skewered, and grilled), kofta anda (meatball curry with eggs), and raita (yogurt with roasted cumin seeds, mint, and cucumber), imli ki chutney (tamarind chutney), and hari chutney (mint - cilantro - chili chutney). Homemade garlic naan provided by the Punjabi aunty of Auntie's Market on 7th Street.

This was my lunch, the following day.

The End.

A composition used in Week 26 - Celebration - set by the Compositionally Challenged Group.

We celebrated my birthday three months late. Why? Because it was a treat from my niece and nephew-in-law, and we always treat ech other to a birthday meal. Sometimes we just can't synchronise ourselves 😂😂

Food glorious food!

The one thing which makes the rampaging crowds and insane amounts of dust in the lungs almost bearable. No bengali wants to eat at home during puja. From Bijoli Grill to Karim's - all of them make an appearance at CR Park.

My personal favourite - chicken tikka at karim's (yumm..!)

We discovered the "Little India" Restaurant on the Gold Coast Highway at Labrador in November 2009. Whilst we have previously enjoyed Indian food... however, this place is an absolute gem... We had never realized how fabulous Indian Cuisine could be until we came to this restaurant...

The food here is absolutely superb, the service is great and they will even cater to individual tastes and preferences, the restaurant is small and elegant, the portions are more generous than in other Indian restaurants and dining here is exceptionally good value.

Every time that we have dined at the Little India Restaurant, we have had a very pleasant experience and very fond memories... so much so, that we have made this our favourite restaurant.
