BRACKETING. At this EV, -2, the overall tonal range is close to what I observed, though with more contrast.

I made a series of reciprocal exposures at this EV.

A new home in Chevy Chase, MD deserves a special landscape! This project included a new flagstone walkway, flagstone patio, plantings, grading, sodding and a boulder retaining wall. Everything to make moving in all the more enjoyable.

Enjoying the cherry blossoms (and magnolias in bloom) in Kenwood, Bethesda, MD.

My room at the Embassy Suites Hotel on Military Road.

A few hundred miles to the south, it's raining. A few hundred miles to the north, they're expecting a dusting. But in Washington, which is neither North nor South, forecasters are promising as much as 2 and 1/2 feet, far beyond our effete ability to cope. The psychology calls to mind one of those movies in which the comet is hurtling toward Earth and the humans can only wait helplessly. At least when I made this long exposure from my front steps, the power was still on.
