I've never considered myself a Suburban owning kind of guy...but if I had one like this, I believe I could learn to embrace the Suburban lifestyle!! There is not anything to dislike about this amazing old classic...it's slammed on the ground, the color, the big white-wall tires, a few cool modifications, and chrome - a lot of chrome!! All the things that make a restored classic amazing...
Three bracketed photos were taken with a handheld Nikon D7200 and combined with Photomatix Pro to create this HDR image. Additional adjustments were made in Photoshop CS6.

Een leuke klassieker op het Amerikaanse evenement was deze Suburban C-30. Een zogehete Amerikaanse of Canadese 'panel truck' is een kleine bestelwagen met meestal een volledig gesloten laadbak.

A nice classic at the American event was this Suburban C-30. A so-called American or Canadian panel truck is a small van with mostly a completely closed cargo box.

Still amazed that Culp continued talking about fraud affecting the Washington gubernatorial election results, as if there could ever be enough fraud to explain why you lost by nearly 20 percentage points to a not-quite-even-lukewarmly-popular incumbent seeking a rare third term only after taking a stab at running for president without ever sniffing 1% in any national polls. Kinda like blaming the refs when you're down thirty at halftime.
In any event, I've always loved these "square-body" Suburbans.

Chevrolet Suburban is the longest running automobile model ever, produced since model year 1935. The sixth generation, made from 1967 to 1972 was produced as the C10 Suburban and the GMC Carryall (see International Travelall in a recent post). It came in two body styles, a panel truck and a three door station wagon (one door on the driver side and two on the passenger side). This wagon sits in front of a BBQ place at a former gas station.
The Chevrolet Suburban series have a long history: already in 1935 the first model was introduced.
This Suburban C-30 is from the fifth 1960-1966 generation. This bonnet type was first used in 1962. In 1964 this panoramic windshield disappeared.
6 or 8 cylinder engine.
Production Chevrolet Carryall Suburban: 1935-present (eleven generations).
Production Suburban fifth gen.: 1960-1966.
Production Suburban this model: 1962-1964.
