At 4:30 pm on Feb 9th 2010 two planes collided in flight in a valley west of Deroche, BC. One plane went down in the water killing instantly its passenger and the other landed safely in a field. The pilot of the first plane died later of his injuries at RCH. The two planes were part of a 4 plane formation flying together. The TSB is investigating.
