A few people still live in Randsburg. This home is typical. I'm thinking these are people down on their luck, or people who could afford to live in a nicer town but choose the ghost town because of its freedom from govenment.

I have no idea why these dolls were posed as they are. I guess it could have been a child playing with them but it could also be someone setting the scene up and taking photographs. Either way, not really sure.

Photographed in Sheldon, IA. This is a very rare vehicle, I have never seen another delivery van like it anywhere else, not even a picture of one. This is a 1958-1961 Chevy Apache 32 based Forward Control step van. It took me ages to identify this truck because the body was built by a small manufacturer called General (no relation to GM/General Motors).
Chevrolet Forward Control vans could be purchased with bodies from several different builders. I believe General in old Chevy brochures refers to General Truck Body a company that still exists and has been around since 1919. Lighter duty Chevy 10 through 40 trucks kept the Apache designation from 1958-1961. Starting in 1962 Chevy pickups & commercial trucks became known as the C/K series. The gaudy white paint around the edges of this one was done by the owner and is not standard on these vans.
The 1st Annual Peabody Square Classic Car Show and Crafts Fair was held on June 1, 2014.
There were many classic and antique cars on display. All of these cars are "street legal"... meaning that can be driven on the street (all cars were driven to and from this event).

The inaugural Oundle class sprint, the first in the UK to run on closed public roads since the change in the law earlier this year.
Oundle is our nearest town at 3 miles from Warmington.

We had a beautiful Spring in Phoenix this year. It brought out a ton of classics for several weeks. I have never seen so many classics on the road before.
This was shot less than a block from my house!

www.coolridesonline.net - This is my 1937 Chevy Pro Street Pickup. It took 7 years of nights and weekends to finish this truck. It has an Art Morris frame, 9″ rear diff, 4 link, 31x18x20 Budnick rims, Mickey Thompson tires, 4L80E trans, 355 small block phase 6 bow tie heads, 510 HP. Body has been strethed and reshaped, ppg paint. I built the motor and trans and diff, I did a lot of the metal work. Had someone build the grill and help with painting the interior. I ran tubing all under the truck to hide wires and keep under the hood neat and clean. It has AC, power windows and I have driven it over 1,000 miles this year to car shows so I try to keep it off the trailer. Thanks for looking!” See pictures of the full build here: forums.coolridesonline.net/album.php?albumid=802
Photos of this very unique pickup were taken at the 2015 Pacific Coast Dream Machines car show in Half Moon Bay.
If anyone knows who owns this pickup please let me know.
The crewcab body was created by an aftermarket manufacturer most likely for a construction company or public works dept. I don't know which company did the cab modification. Note the cool spotlights.
