These two 2003 or newer Chevy Express box van ambulances used to belong to Hall Ambulance in Bakersfield but are now being used as emt training rigs in Glendale, AZ. Norcal Ambulance in Alameda county and Rural Metro in Santa Clara county are tied for 2nd place when it comes to cool graphics. I photographed this box van ambulance in San Jose. Amazingly enough the Chevy Express van, which was originally introduced in 1996 along with its GMC Savannah twin, continues to exist through model year 2020 as both a cargo & passenger van. Its styling has remained unchanged since 2003.
