Dena and I are now the very proud aunt and uncle to the beautiful Harmony Skye.
Congratulations to Starr after finally giving birth 06/13/24
13th of June to us brits. More pics of this little one will surface over the coming days, I'm sure, but, for now, here we have mother and daughter enjoying the purest of love.
I suppose now there will be the pitter patter of tiny feet around the studio.

As my eldest daughter and I hiked down along the trail next to the Gunpowder River, several times we past fathers walking with their daughters (looking to be 6 to 8 years of age). Each time I kept thinking what a great time to spend with their daughters.
Then it dawned on me ... here I was doing the same:)) Just mine is a lot older. It had me thinking that it was not all that long ago she was that little. Time goes by way TOO quickly.
While out I made sure to get some captures of her there taking photos along with me. Hoping she did the same of me. It was a great time.
For this one I did not extend the shutter too long ... so she did not have to hold her pose ... forever.

My Actions & Overlays at: Bellevue Avenue
Separate from a crowded field of daisies, I noticed this pair, several feet away from the rest. "Embrace" came first to mind, but then I later thought maybe it conveyed more than that... perhaps an appreciation and care for one that stands a far from the masses.... well at least in my mind.
I had to crank the ISO here even though it was during sunset. I wanted a fast shutter speed bc it was a bit breezy. But in a way i hope the bit of noise and the dark tone here adds to the feeling.
Inadvertently uploaded this last night... so a few of you got a peek.
Nuff explanations! Hope this gift of nature moves you in some way!

Description: 27th July 2013. The blue hour on that particular morning was showing a hint of clear sunrise. After finishing work, immediately made my way to this lovely mosque in Puchong for a "sunrise" session. Alhamdulillah that although it is not everyday, that day I am still able to enjoy the beautiful creation of God.

My beautiful Blackie, my companion and sweet, sweet furry friend.

She was diagnosed with cancer on August 2013, and she still with us. I cherish every day with her as a miracle of life.
En Agosto del 2013 fue diagnosticada con cancer y todavia esta con nosotros. Aprecio cada dia con ella como un milagro de vida.
She passed away 6-16-2015. Ella murio el 16-6-2015.
