My health checkup is billed directly to my company as part of some company plan for employees over the age of 35. Cant remember how much it costs but will update you.
This bill for 1,200 yen is for a copy of the scans of my stomach and lungs. It's not common knowledge but you can request a copy. I just requested one of each but you can ask for all.

Zooming back in time to the night before the checkup. I usually get this package a few weeks before the checkup - tis a kit for taking poo samples. I'm supposed to take a poo sample a few days before but always end up forgetting - probably because I want to put it off for as long as I can.
Also because I don't fancy keeping it in the fridge either - there could be the risk that I mistake the sample for some peanut butter or Nutella. Or maybe some left over curry.

The checkup is to determine Mom's heart is strong enough to undergo operation for the removal of her tumor. A 14-cm tumor was discovered when she complained of bloatness some 2-weeks ago. At this stage, doctors are still unable to determine if the tumour is beneign or cancerous. Tests, labs and analysis are weekly affairs before operation gets underway early January 2010.

Ava had her four-year checkup a little late this year. I forgot to make the appointment far enough in advance, so we ended up going the day before Thanksgiving. She got three shots this time, including flu shot, so she definitely earned her lollipop. And at 41 inches tall, she's catching up to the statue out front.

Cupcake had her checkup yesterday. The prednisone is making her feel better, and she has gained a lot of weight. She went from 16oz to 24oz!
They said he leg looks good, but that she will always have a bit of a limp because it healed a bit off.
She still has little bruises and they said that is because her platelet count is too low, so we have to be careful that she does not play too rough.
The better she feels, the more she wants to get into trouble, so it is a challenge to keep her from acting like a ferret.

Anand Misal arranged the setup. Camp organiser Anita Said organised the camp under the guidance of Dr. Ashwin Porwal(Founder-President, HHF), Dr. Snehal Porwal (Founder-Secretary, HHF), and Madhura Bhate(NGO coordinator, HHF).
Total 82 patients benefitted through the drive.
