A couple of attempts to get this shot, the craftsman was rather quick with the level the first time.

On processing I felt this would work for a selective colour image but I have this slight feeling that the use of the selective colour here detracts from the 'story' that the image naturally portrays. I seem to concentrate more on the level than on the scene and it was the scene that I 'saw' and wanted to take.

I have include a link to the 'non selective' B+W version.

Over to you...

Haven't been to the gym in a while. Just making sure I haven't snapped back to pre-gym era.

The water level should indicate the underside of the crown which is well below the gauge glass “bottom” nut.

after i took this picture some old dude came up to me and started asking the 20 questions: why are you taking pictures of this place? What are you doing with the pics? Etc. I told him I have a fashion blog and I was trying to document seniors style in NYC. He was like, you have a what?

I'm not sure whether I like this version or the colored, "dramatic" cross-processed one more. I consider both as rather "below average" but I'm posting them because they are my first steps into street (or train, for that matter) photography.

Taken with a Lumix GH1 and a Contax 45 mm f/2 lens (manual focus).

It's time to get into my time machine and upload a set of photos that got forgotten. This set is from July 2018.

Ruffle up the bed, leave all the towels on the floor, leave the toilet unflushed, re-program the TV, turn to air conditioning to 'freeze' setting, leave your rubbish under the mattress... depart.

The police sets up this check for heavy traffic in Hedemora (sweden), every now and then.

It is just next to where the MOTs are done. Pretty good for the Police as they can check the trucks a lot better then they would if they were anywhere else.

12.2.10,

12 hours. Jen and I met up and went to Heidi's place, then to Red Robin because we were both starving and exhausted. Burger w/ egg and fries... nom nom nom. We ate soo much too fast and we both wanted to vomit. It was great.

Got back to her place, showered and started charging batteries and doing a once over on my camera gear for the wedding tomorrow.
