A couple of attempts to get this shot, the craftsman was rather quick with the level the first time.
On processing I felt this would work for a selective colour image but I have this slight feeling that the use of the selective colour here detracts from the 'story' that the image naturally portrays. I seem to concentrate more on the level than on the scene and it was the scene that I 'saw' and wanted to take.
I have include a link to the 'non selective' B+W version.

I'm not sure whether I like this version or the colored, "dramatic" cross-processed one more. I consider both as rather "below average" but I'm posting them because they are my first steps into street (or train, for that matter) photography.
Taken with a Lumix GH1 and a Contax 45 mm f/2 lens (manual focus).
It's time to get into my time machine and upload a set of photos that got forgotten. This set is from July 2018.

The police sets up this check for heavy traffic in Hedemora (sweden), every now and then.
It is just next to where the MOTs are done. Pretty good for the Police as they can check the trucks a lot better then they would if they were anywhere else.
12.2.10,
12 hours. Jen and I met up and went to Heidi's place, then to Red Robin because we were both starving and exhausted. Burger w/ egg and fries... nom nom nom. We ate soo much too fast and we both wanted to vomit. It was great.
Got back to her place, showered and started charging batteries and doing a once over on my camera gear for the wedding tomorrow.
