These active and chatty 'Snowbirds' brighten up our backyard with their soft songs and trills. Seeing them certainly offers a bit of comfort during these trying times, and cheers in the cold winter days.
I am glad to 'catch' this particular individual posing nicely with nice light and eye contact.

Thank you all very much for your visits and comments.
It was nice running across this chatty fellow - - a Carolina Wren
I followed it along the trail for a few minutes waiting for a better pose - - I got a series of bursts in about 6 different positions - - this is one of the better ones in my opinion.

From my drive to Carden Alver - - we saw several Great Crested Flycatchers - - it was a treat since they were so chatty with each other.

This is another shot I was able to get in while chatty guy was talking to me.;)
Speaking of weather, it's supposed to be really pretty today and tomorrow. Looking forward to that

This little guy was politely asking for a little something for lunch. Luckily, we had some cashew nuts and grapes...He was very grateful, and posed, charmingly, for (lots and lots of) photos.
A beautiful, chatty and chirpy little bird.

These little Bewick's wrens are quite chatty as they explore their surroundings. This one told me to look for it in a bush, then soon emerged to this blackberry vine, and struck a classic wren pose.
Seagulls are quite chatty. They have no problems squawking and letting their voices be heard.
Gulls are social creatures and will communicate with other birds flying above, this was very loud at the harbor, perhaps was complaining about the water being frozen:-)
Early in the morning, before I started to work, I went to Monrepos today for a walk around the lake. I was a good decision because I not only saw ducklings but also a few goslings and of course the squirrels. The weather was great too and that will most likely change in the next days.
The "Wild One" had a lot to say yesterday. A winter storm is coming in this weekend. I worry so much about her. We built her a shelter a few months ago but I still worry. She's just way too wild to bring indoors with my other cats.
Thank you for the likes and comments. It is so appreciated.
I managed to have a lovely zoom meeting with my daughter and granddaughters yesterday, what a strange world we're living in. I haven't seen them in person since before last christmas. It was lovely to play music together, I can't wait to see them, but don't expect it to be very soon the way things are looking. Chatty Chatty is by Toots and the Maytals and is perfect for my after zoom happiness.
“Oh, Edax, you never rudely talk back to me.” She gleefully feeds her companion, before adding, “you’re not like the others, the others, them and their chatty little mouths. No—no, no!”
I have some amazing bloggers, and they inspired me to spend time on a photo, instead of rushing to the next project. Thank you! Though, I'll probably still rush next time anyway >.>

She can be a chatty girl, which I love about her. She's playing with a friend of mine in one of our favorite places.
I'm working in an area that hasn't been cleaned out thoroughly in a long time. it's next to the chicken pen so I'm accompanied by some chatty chickens while I work. ]
the photo on the left is thimbleberries, which I always want to call tingle berries. they are invasive so I'm removing them.
they have pretty white flowers and will manage to come back next year.
the photo on the right is some teeny tiny white flowers I found on the ground. sweet little things.

... and no need to mention how many calories it has !
Cleo lives for her meals and when she sleeps she probably dreams of them. Tuna is not exactly a part of her low calorie diet but occasionally she gets some tuna for dinner, just to lift her spirits. :)
iNaturalist.org identifies this as a Red-shouldered Hawk (Buteo lineatus). Pretty sure these two are a mated pair because they were sure chatty with one another, but, as suggested below, they may be juveniles. Thoreau campus, Richmond, Texas.
There are about 30 juice stands in San Pedro Market, all selling much the same juices and combinations for the same prices. It’s a game of who can shout louder at the market goers and who has the best sales pitch or who is playing the best music! Everybody is super friendly and chatty. These ladies were only too happy to pose for a shot, even though I didn't buy a drink.
This widespread thrush shows a large amount of geographical variation. The upperparts are generally gray-brown, while the underparts can be buff, gray, or rufous. All across the range, shows a yellow bill. Found in a range of habitats, including forest edge, woodland, gardens, and cultivation. In areas without Abyssinian Thrush, also occurs in montane forest. The song is a pretty, variable series of chatty whistles and trills which can continue for a long time without a pause. Similar to Abyssinian Thrush, but found at lower elevations in areas of overlap, and is generally paler, with a paler yellow bill. (eBird)

These may be common but, being a thrush, it is shy and difficult to see. This is the only chance I had to take a photo of this pretty bird and I certainly appreciate it posing for me in a nice, natural setting.

As I said before, PJ and Broadcast were adopted as a pair of kittens. PJ is definitely the more chatty one as she is always working on her next record. She also loves catnip and lays belly up most of the time!

This blue jay (and a friend) was very chatty because of a nearby cat that was out hunting. It still took the time to scope me out, but would not move from deep in the Russian olive until it flew away altogether.
Luna laughed at Grinelda's choice of helmet. "That's hilarious!" she exclaimed. "Can you talk to frogs with that thing?"
Grinelda nodded, grinning from ear to ear. "Oh yes, and they're quite chatty, you know. Always hopping around, talking about this and that."
As night fell, the two of them went for a walk through the lunar forest, meeting the strange life forms that lived there.
Luna put on her headset and felt her senses suddenly expand as she connected with the lunar ecosystem. She could hear the plants whispering to one another in a melodious wash of sound.
Luna approached a cluster of glowing mushrooms, their soft light pulsing in the shadows. She reached out a hand to touch one and was surprised to feel a gentle vibration under her fingertips. The mushrooms glowed a little brighter, as they welcomed Luna into their world.
Then she asked “What should I do next in this strange and wondrous place?”
"Luna, dear Luna," they said. "Your heart is your compass. Listen to it, and it will always guide you on your journey."
And armed with that advice, the two friends wandered deep into the forest.
