Khi Google giới thiệu Bard vào đầu năm nay, nó đã bị chỉ trích nặng nề vì thường mắc lỗi thực tế trong các phản hồi của mình. Giám đốc điều hành Google Sundar Pichai gần đây đã quyết định hủy các sự kiện Gemini dự kiến vào tuần tới tại California, New York và Washington. Động thái này được đưa ra sau khi công ty xác định được các vấn đề về độ tin cậy của AI khi xử lý một số câu hỏi không phải tiếng Anh. Giới thiệu về Gemini
Khi Gemini được công bố tại sự kiện I/O của Google vào tháng 5 năm nay, nó đã được ca ngợi là câu trả lời của công ty công nghệ này đối với công cụ AI lan truyền của OpenAI, ChatGPT. Sau này, CEO DeepMind Demis Hessabis cũng cho biết Gemini sẽ mạnh hơn ChatGPT bất cứ khi nào nó ra mắt.

Một báo cáo của Wired sau đó đã tiết lộ rằng, theo Hassabis, Gemini sẽ có khả năng cao hơn ChatGPT. Ông cũng cho biết nhóm DeepMind đang sử dụng các kỹ thuật từ chương trình AlphaGo AI.
AlphaGo, một sản phẩm của DeepMind, nổi lên vào năm 2016 với tư cách là máy tính đầu tiên đánh bại một kỳ thủ cờ vây lão luyện trong trò chơi cờ vây chiến lược.

Ông nói thêm: “Khi Gemini trưởng thành, nó có thể đóng một vai trò quan trọng trong phản ứng của Google trước mối đe dọa cạnh tranh do ChatGPT và các sản phẩm công nghệ AI khác gây ra”.

Vào thời điểm buổi thuyết trình về Gemini, Google đã viết trong một bài đăng trên blog: "Chúng tôi đang làm việc trên Gemini - mô hình tiếp theo của chúng tôi là đa phương tiện, được tích hợp công cụ ngay từ đầu và API rất hiệu quả cũng như những đổi mới trong tương lai, chẳng hạn như bộ nhớ và lập kế hoạch." Gemini vẫn đang trong quá trình đào tạo nhưng nó đã thể hiện các khả năng đa phương tiện không có trong các mẫu trước đó.
"Sau khi được tối ưu hóa và bảo mật nghiêm ngặt, Gemini sẽ có nhiều kích cỡ và chức năng, giống như PaLM 2, để đảm bảo rằng nó có thể được sử dụng trong nhiều sản phẩm và ứng dụng cũng như bằng các vật liệu khác nhau cho từng người thụ hưởng. Có thể sử dụng trong nhiều ứng dụng."

In einem interaktiven Erlebnisparcours haben die Teilnehmenden spielerisch gelernt, wie KI eingesetzt wird und diese genutzt werden kann – von Stimmgeneratoren, über Bilderkennung bis hin zu Chatbots. In generationenübergreifenden Kleingruppen wurden außerdem zentrale Fragen zur KI diskutiert: Was ist KI eigentlich? Welche Chancen und Risiken birgt der Einsatz von KI? Welchen Einfluss hat KI auf unser Leben? Und sollte es Regeln beim Einsatz von KI geben? Im Austausch mit Expert:innen und Politiker:inne wurden diese und weitere Fragen erörtert:
