Als bezoeker kon je verbeteringen of functies aan jezelf toevoegen, uit de biologie, informatica en kunstmatige intelligentie. De wetenschap van vandaag is de nieuwe feature van morgen.
Deze expositie is in 2012 ontwikkeld door Science LinX, het science center van de Faculteit Wiskunde en Natuurwetenschappen, in samenwerking met diverse onderzoekers van de faculteit en het UMCG.

In Hamburg findet im Rahmen des Reeperbahn-Festivals die TINCON, die Konferenz für digitale Jugendkultur, statt. Das heißt in Talks, Workshops und Q&As geben Speaker*innen ihr Können und Wissen an das junge Publikum weiter. Die TINCON ist ein geschützter Ort, an dem sich junge Leute von 13 bis 25 Jahren vernetzen, informieren und mit Idolen austauschen können. Ein Event, das sie selbst mitgestalten.

Interesting article on www.wired.com/story/air-canada-chatbot-refund-policy/ regarding a blunder by a chat bot Air Canada’s website. In summary the chat bot ‘created’ a refund policy that not only didn’t exist, but that explicitly went against the official policy that the bot had been programmed with. The customers case was upheld and he was awarded his refund. The chat feature on Air Canadas webpage has been disabled for ‘reprogramming’ and is still not present at 9:30am on Monday the 19th of Feb.
