This is a 3 image panorama taken in Kauai on the first day of my trip. I was driving down HI-56 in my rental car and it was raining lightly when I noticed this rainbow in the rearview mirror, I quickly decided to attempt to find a foreground along the road to put under this one. It is quite a challenge to get the right angle without losing the reflective effect. The further I moved down the road towards it, the more the effect was lost, so I hit a dirt road off the side of the highway that led off at an angle to the east and the effect grew stronger. That road turned and the effect started to fade again, so I sidetrack off that path and found another little road that led me right under it. Now I know why its called chasing rainbows. :)

I had a dream last night, chasing the light and an object along the lake… laughed myself when I woke up… searched my archived photos, got the one like the scenes in the dream… What would be nice if we could travel there this fall… I heard from my friend there were lots of tourists there now. Hopefully they can keep the social distances and be safe!
…as the balloons drift slowly their chase vehicles raised some dust on the back dirt roads of the Iowa countryside.
I went with B&W to keep unity with vehicle colors and designs but just had to leave the balloons in color, after all that’s what we were chasing. HSS!

I was planning to shoot into the sunset, but I raced to find a new point of view and composition when I saw these colors.
Best made plans of landscape photography go out the window when the light changes.

Chase came over to my studio to do a quick shot of himself. I snuck a couple of shots myself.
He's still an idiot, but he's still my idiot. Yes, we're just friends. No, I don't really care if anyone is upset that I'm posting a picture of him. That's what friends are for.
I was determined to get some sunrays, but had to work for them. I must have looked very odd, ducking and weaving through the trees looking for that right spot. The sun was not playing and rays were in short supply but managed to bag a few. This wonderful arch of branches reaped quite a few images that you will see during the week, but they framed the sunlight perfectly for this image.

A juvenile Bulbul was trying to fly...On an evening I found few juvenile Bulbuls were playing on long grasses in front of my house...This one sat on a piece of wood and tried to fly higher..I tried to capture its motion with slow shutter...it happened so quick that I did not get much time to focus on its eye...the eyes of this bird was so bright and full of dreams...
