Churchill was a Great Britain and it seems if you let your imagination run wild in the gardens at Chartwell House that even the flowers - white tulips offer him a bow - as a sign of respect.

Winston Churchill's house in Kent. There's a bit of a personality cult around Churchill in these Brexit-y days, which ignores what a complex human being he actually was. The right man for the job in war-time, but an utter b****** with it. I wouldn't call him a hero, but he was a compelling human being. Sadly we didn't have time to check out his house on this occasion but Chartwell isn't a million miles away...
