This is the side entrance to an old church in Toronto in a state of decay. However, with the lush vegetation surrounding it, the two elements meld perfectly together.
The #MacroMondays theme for 5/13 is charm. Bracelets, necklaces, wine glasses, keychains - am figuring any ornamentation is fair game, as long as it’s small. Loved the blue shadow on this one! And it’s blue (surprise, surprise) and sparkly (more surprise)!… will include the size verification in a bit. It's a bit over 3cm
By the way, I dithered a bit between this and the Dutch clog

"Smile on Saturday" theme: Lost and Found
I found this Friends charm along the walking path. So was the charm thrown away or was it lost?
The green MM’s decided to share and become best of friends. Orange M feels left out. But in the end they all hang out together on the window sill.

Three charms on a cork, a camera, a dreamcatcher, and a compass. The camera charm is for pixel perfect, the compass to always find the right frame, and dreamcatcher is photography. 43mm wide and 57mm long.

I don't have a "charm", just a ring and my cross, that I wear all the time, but neither are a charm, as such.
So I checked out the gallery and found a lucky penny. But. Did I have a penny? Dug into my handbag that went to the UK with me in 2016 and found one and not much else!
So now I have a charm, one lucky British penny.

Seit den 1960er Jahren sind freilebende Mandarinenten in Deutschland zu beobachten, insbesondere in Parkanlagen und an Seen.
Die Männchen sind durch ihr prächtiges Gefieder leicht zu erkennen: Sie besitzen leuchtend orangefarbene "Segel" an den Flügeln, ein schillerndes Brustgefieder und einen auffälligen, roten Schnabel. Die Weibchen sind dezenter gefärbt, mit braun-grauen Tönen und weißen Flecken um die Augen.

The mandarin duck (Aix galericulata) is a strikingly colorful duck species originally from East Asia. However, it has been naturalized in many parts of the world, including Germany. Since the 1960s, free-living mandarin ducks have been observed in Germany, especially in parks and lakes.
The males are easily recognized by their magnificent plumage: They have bright orange "sails" on their wings, iridescent breast plumage and a striking red beak. The females are more subtly colored, with brown-grey tones and white spots around the eyes.
CSX hotshot Q171 was rolling west through Carroll interlocking in Baltimore in 2007 behind a former Conrail SD40-2R and a SD70MAC.
The skyline hasn't changed much in the years since, but the motive power certainly has.
The 8880 was built in 1970 as Penn Central SD40 6266 before Conrail rebuilt in as CR 6989.

This was removed from Chris's charm bracelet to be photographed, then returned. She was given the bracelet at the age of 12 by her parents. Other charms she purchased since included two hinged pieces including a magic lamp that when opened contained a genie, & one of a shoe that when opened was full of children from the "There was an old lady who lived in a shoe" :)
Buddha charms always remind me of my Mom, she wore one every day.

I don’t know about you, but hmmm, every season has its charms?
Each their colours… not that Spring doesn’t have orange or Summer doesn’t have reds, I think it much lies in the ‘combination’ of colours?
And this here is pure Autumn! An orange onion Pumpkin, some Strawberry Corn (mostly decorative Zea mays 'Strawberry'. Popping Corn), some cobnuts (fresh Hazelnuts) and a few Physalis… et voila, Autumn in the studio.

Northbound Acela #2254 passes the old Hoen Lithographers building at BIDDLE interlocking on the east side of Baltimore. The old building has been repurposed into a co-working space that serves a number of non-profits and other community organizations.
