Taking the applause at the end of a production of Macbeth at the Minack open-air theatre at Porthcurno on the Cornish Coast, SWCP.
This spectacular theatre was created by Rowena Cade, who moved to Cornwall after the First World War and built a house on land at Minack Point. In 1929 she offered her garden as a location for a production of The Tempest, as it was on the cliffs beside the sea. After this success, the theatre became improved each year during the winter months and puts on a summer season of various productions.
The Minack theatre is used from Easter to September for a full season of 20 plays and is open to visitors during the rest of the year.
Beautiful large Willow trees, Eucalyptus and other deciduous trees surround the curving lake that provides water and recreation for the acreage at Cruden Farm. Suburbia now surrounds most of the Cruden Farm area, left by Dame Elisabeth Murdoch for the people to enjoy, and is now managed by a charitable trust. The ducks obviously like the lake too.

Portmeirion is a folly] tourist village in Gwynedd (historically in Merionethshire), North Wales. It was designed and built by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis between 1925 and 1975 in the style of an Italian village, and is now owned by a charitable trust. The village is located in the community of Penrhyndeudraeth, on the estuary of the River Dwyryd, 2 miles (3.2 km) south east of Porthmadog, and 1 mile (1.6 km) from Minffordd railway station. Portmeirion has served as the location for numerous films and television shows, most famously as "The Village" in the 1960s television show The Prisoner.

This little row of terraced cottages in Liversage Street, off London Road, close to Derby city centre have a certain sense of elegance.
These form part of a series of almshouses administered by the charitable Liversage Trust, providing housing for the city's pensioners. They were built in 1836 and are grade II listed. They were erected as a replacement to the original buildings on the site of Saint Peter's churchyard commissioned by the Trust.
The trust dates back to 1529 under the terms of the will of Robert Liversage, a man who had made his fortune in the wool dyeing industry.
To the right of this terrace is a modern residential home, Liversage Court, operated by the Liversage Trust.

For Orphan children we are providing good education, nutritious food, sports and games, cultural activities, meditation and yoga. We are very particular in teaching them good behavior, how to be responsible to the situations, moral and spiritual values and civic senses which in deed helps in providing a healthy citizen to the society in our Orphanage children home.
For deceived women or widows, we are providing nutritious food, shelter, healthy and spiritual environment, yoga and meditation. We even accept them as the Volunteers with a service motto as we all know “SERVICE TO LIFE IS SERVICE TO GOD”

Our properties just like water level in the well if we use water purposefully the decreased water level in the well filled later. If we don’t use water the level of water remains the same suppose we add more water into the well it looks raise in the water level in movement but after sometime it comes to the original level. If we use water unnecessarily and dry it then we have no water when we want to drink even though our well water will be raised later. So we take a little amount of water and use it towards real needy people. We eat for living and not live for eating man/woman should working until last his/her breathe.
Friends we may not giving as light as the sun but we are giving as light as lamp and try to drive way darkness in the society as able as we can then darkness drive way from the society then we will live peacefully and happily in such society . For Orphan children we are providing good education, nutritious food, sports and games, cultural activities, meditation and yoga. We are very particular in teaching them good behavior, how to be responsible to the situations, moral and spiritual values and civic senses which in deed helps in providing a healthy citizen to the society in our Orphanage children home.
For deceived women or widows, we are providing nutritious food, shelter, healthy and spiritual environment, yoga and meditation. We even accept them as the Volunteers with a service motto as we all know “SERVICE TO LIFE IS SERVICE TO GOD”
Do you know depending upon parents and teachers’ behaviors children learn good or bad activities? For example we choose one regional language in particular state, different areas living people speak different stylish the same regional language because it’s their environment effect. So when parents/teachers create good environments to their children doing good things like social, civic, moral, spiritual, cultural, social response, kind, humanity etc… Then children growing such way if not they will grimy.
Now a day’s one in all are thinking about earn billions of billions of rupees whatever job they are doing and give it to their children on heredity properties. Suppose they will give children billions of billions rupees and there will be no moral values, civic senesce, social responsibilities, humanity, social behavior, kindness, social moving with others and also no pure air, water, earth and sky. Can they enjoy in that society? and live happily such wrinkle and blight society, we will give them not only money on heredity but also we learn or grow them good behaviors like cultural, spiritual, social, moral, civics, kind, help, social responsibility etc.. . Money is requiring for live but life is not money. Money may not make life happy but service must be making live happily that should be known one in all.
Our properties just like water level in the well if we use water purposefully the decreased water level in the well filled later. If we don’t use water the level of water remains the same suppose we add more water into the well it looks raise in the water level in movement but after sometime it comes to the original level. If we use water unnecessarily and dry it then we have no water when we want to drink even though our well water will be raised later. So we take a little amount of water and use it towards real needy people. We eat for living and not live for eating man/woman should working until last his/her breathe.
Friends we may not giving as light as the sun but we are giving as light as lamp and try to drive way darkness in the society as able as we can then darkness drive way from the society then we will live peacefully and happily in such society . For Orphan children we are providing good education, nutritious food, sports and games, cultural activities, meditation and yoga. We are very particular in teaching them good behavior, how to be responsible to the situations, moral and spiritual values and civic senses which in deed helps in providing a healthy citizen to the society in our Orphanage children home.
For deceived women or widows, we are providing nutritious food, shelter, healthy and spiritual environment, yoga and meditation. We even accept them as the Volunteers with a service motto as we all know “SERVICE TO LIFE IS SERVICE TO GOD”
Do you know depending upon parents and teachers’ behaviors children learn good or bad activities? For example we choose one regional language in particular state, different areas living people speak different stylish the same regional language because it’s their environment effect. So when parents/teachers create good environments to their children doing good things like social, civic, moral, spiritual, cultural, social response, kind, humanity etc… Then children growing such way if not they will grimy.
Now a day’s one in all are thinking about earn billions of billions of rupees whatever job they are doing and give it to their children on heredity properties. Suppose they will give children billions of billions rupees and there will be no moral values, civic senesce, social responsibilities, humanity, social behavior, kindness, social moving with others and also no pure air, water, earth and sky. Can they enjoy in that society? and live happily such wrinkle and blight society, we will give them not only money on heredity but also we learn or grow them good behaviors like cultural, spiritual, social, moral, civics, kind, help, social responsibility etc.. . Money is requiring for live but life is not money. Money may not make life happy but service must be making live happily that should be known one in all.
Our properties just like water level in the well if we use water purposefully the decreased water level in the well filled later. If we don’t use water the level of water remains the same suppose we add more water into the well it looks raise in the water level in movement but after sometime it comes to the original level. If we use water unnecessarily and dry it then we have no water when we want to drink even though our well water will be raised later. So we take a little amount of water and use it towards real needy people. We eat for living and not live for eating man/woman should working until last his/her breathe.
Friends we may not giving as light as the sun but we are giving as light as lamp and try to drive way darkness in the society as able as we can then darkness drive way from the society then we will live peacefully and happily in such society . After leaving Haddon Hall we stopped off at Caudwell's Mill Craft Centre. It was a flour mill powered by water.
At Rowsley is a unique, grade II* listed historic roller flour mill. Powered by water from the river Wye, one or more mills have stood on this site for at least 400 years. The present mill was built in 1874 by John Caudwell and run as a family business for over a century.
The mill was purchased by a charitable trust and has been operated by them for over forty years.
At Caudwell’s Mill, grain was milled by the same process used at the giant modern mills which now provide most of the flour for our bread, but here production was on a scale and at a speed that is both easier to understand and which did not damage the flour.
mill interiorThe mill is a complete fascinating automatic ‘machine’ on four floors and usually runs daily. Most of the machinery is earlier than 1914 and is still driven by belts (often leather) and pulleys from line shafts. Elevators and Archimedean screws abound. The wheat enters the first roller mill, then the “grist” produced is “elevated” to the top floor where it enters the first plansifter. From there the graded product is passed to more roller mills and the process continued. The 22 pairs of roller mills, two purifiers and the four plansifters ensured the flour was fine enough to be sold to bakers.
The mill was originally powered by two water wheels which drove 8 pairs of millstones in the flour mill and 3 pairs in the provender (animal feed) mill. After the installation of the roller mills the water wheels did not provide enough power and water turbines replaced the water wheels. Initially a 35 HP “Trent” turbine was installed in 1887 to drive the flour mill. This was still not powerful enough for the new plant and a “Francis” turbine of 80 HP replaced it in 1914 driving the flour mill via a line shaft in the cellar. Driving the provender (animal feed) mill and most of the wheat cleaning plant is a 50 HP “Little Giant” installed in 1898, which, now generates the electricity used in the mill.
There are numerous displays, descriptions and hands-on models throughout the mill to make your visit enjoyable and informative. It is ideal to show children those fascinating mechanical features not to be seen elsewhere and to explore how wheat is turned into flour.
The mill shop sells over 25 types of flour and 8 types of oat product in sizes from 1 kg to 25 kg, together with yeast and biscuits.

Flour mill. Built in 1874, bridging a broad mill race. Rock
faced and plain sandstone. Welsh slate roof. A rectangular
block of seven bays on the long side. Three storeys. The east
elevation has various brick and timber lean-to additions not of
special interest. Otherwise windows with iron frame fixed pane
glazing, stone lintels and sills. Twin semi-circular arches
over the mill race. The centre part of the east elevation is
raised with a 'clerestory', which houses the exhaust system. The
gable end to north has a projecting enclosed hoist and large
lean-to timber and corrugated iron canopy forming the loading
shed. The west side has regular spacing of iron framed windows
under stone lintels, except one enlarged window under an RSJ.
To the south west a lean-to corrugated iron and timber structure
not of special interest. The south gable end has a lower gabled
bay with a single window to each floor. The internal
construction is largely of timber, but with cast iron columns to
the ground floor to support the original millstones on the first
floor. The timber floors are butted with iron tongues. The
mill is driven internally by an American 'Little Giant' turbine
installed in 1898, and a Francis twin turbine installed in 1914.
The machinery dates mostly from 1914. The south end of the
building contains the wheat washing cleaning and provender mill
and storage facilities. The flour mill section is at the north
end. On the second floor are sifters dating from 1914. On the
first floor are two purifiers dating from 1932 and on the ground
floor are the roller mills dating mostly from 1905.

At Caudwell’s Mill, grain was milled by the same process used at the giant modern mills which now provide most of the flour for our bread, but here production was on a scale and at a speed that is both easier to understand and which did not damage the flour.

The mill shop sells over 25 types of flour and 8 types of oat product in sizes from 1 kg to 25 kg, together with yeast and biscuits.

At Rowsley is a unique, grade II* listed historic roller flour mill. Powered by water from the river Wye, one or more mills have stood on this site for at least 400 years. The present mill was built in 1874 by John Caudwell and run as a family business for over a century.
The mill was purchased by a charitable trust and has been operated by them for over forty years.
At Caudwell’s Mill, grain was milled by the same process used at the giant modern mills which now provide most of the flour for our bread, but here production was on a scale and at a speed that is both easier to understand and which did not damage the flour.

The mill shop sells over 25 types of flour and 8 types of oat product in sizes from 1 kg to 25 kg, together with yeast and biscuits.

At Rowsley is a unique, grade II* listed historic roller flour mill. Powered by water from the river Wye, one or more mills have stood on this site for at least 400 years. The present mill was built in 1874 by John Caudwell and run as a family business for over a century.
The mill was purchased by a charitable trust and has been operated by them for over forty years.
At Caudwell’s Mill, grain was milled by the same process used at the giant modern mills which now provide most of the flour for our bread, but here production was on a scale and at a speed that is both easier to understand and which did not damage the flour.
mill interiorThe mill is a complete fascinating automatic ‘machine’ on four floors and usually runs daily. Most of the machinery is earlier than 1914 and is still driven by belts (often leather) and pulleys from line shafts. Elevators and Archimedean screws abound. The wheat enters the first roller mill, then the “grist” produced is “elevated” to the top floor where it enters the first plansifter. From there the graded product is passed to more roller mills and the process continued. The 22 pairs of roller mills, two purifiers and the four plansifters ensured the flour was fine enough to be sold to bakers.
The mill was originally powered by two water wheels which drove 8 pairs of millstones in the flour mill and 3 pairs in the provender (animal feed) mill. After the installation of the roller mills the water wheels did not provide enough power and water turbines replaced the water wheels. Initially a 35 HP “Trent” turbine was installed in 1887 to drive the flour mill. This was still not powerful enough for the new plant and a “Francis” turbine of 80 HP replaced it in 1914 driving the flour mill via a line shaft in the cellar. Driving the provender (animal feed) mill and most of the wheat cleaning plant is a 50 HP “Little Giant” installed in 1898, which, now generates the electricity used in the mill.
There are numerous displays, descriptions and hands-on models throughout the mill to make your visit enjoyable and informative. It is ideal to show children those fascinating mechanical features not to be seen elsewhere and to explore how wheat is turned into flour.
The mill shop sells over 25 types of flour and 8 types of oat product in sizes from 1 kg to 25 kg, together with yeast and biscuits.

block of seven bays on the long side. Three storeys. The east
elevation has various brick and timber lean-to additions not of
special interest. Otherwise windows with iron frame fixed pane
glazing, stone lintels and sills. Twin semi-circular arches
over the mill race. The centre part of the east elevation is
raised with a 'clerestory', which houses the exhaust system. The
gable end to north has a projecting enclosed hoist and large
lean-to timber and corrugated iron canopy forming the loading
shed. The west side has regular spacing of iron framed windows
under stone lintels, except one enlarged window under an RSJ.
To the south west a lean-to corrugated iron and timber structure
not of special interest. The south gable end has a lower gabled
bay with a single window to each floor. The internal
construction is largely of timber, but with cast iron columns to
the ground floor to support the original millstones on the first
