As a matter of fact I was always and I am still very addicted to the art of Mr. Jago that's why I tried several times to copy him. IMPOSSIBLE! He was the one, besides Pete Fowler, James Jarvis, JamFactory, Stick-A-Thing, Greg Abbott, 123Klan and FriendsWithYou who introduced me, back in 2005, to the world of Streetart and CharacterDesign Thank you all!

Pencilled sketch for a gift voucher idea - a commission for a hair salon. The idea is to promote the purchase of gift vouchers for young men to spend at the salon (yep...on a haircut). The final illustration may appear on the inside panel of a Gift Wallet Card. This one's a work-in-progress...I may opt for Pose 03 instead!

This cheerful chap was drawn with the usual media I like for colour sketching: marker pen, pencil crayon and gouache paint. Like my other marker drawings it is quite small measuring 14.6 cm x 21.2 cm. It was cropped and manipulated a bit digital in Gimp 2.6. The monster is part man part boar and inspired by the “Urscumug” character from the novel “Mythago Wood” by author Robert Holdstock. He's a giant who lives in the forest, and adorns himself with leaves and foliage.
