Game rules: Rules: If you were stuck on a deserted island, which five dolls would you have with you? You can only bring five!
This was very easy and hard at the same time.
My top three has always been my top three, which include Leia, Jem and Wonder Woman.
That was the easy part.
The two others, four and five really could have been anyone.
Jake is one doll that I have used in many of my pictures and is a favorite of mine, but so are so many others, I could have easily replaced him with Jeannie, Elvira, any super hero from DC or Marvel and so on.
Anakin Skywalker is also a great character/figure and I do love Star Wars as a whole (tho not much of what Disney has done with the franchise) but again I do love Disney and could have picked any of the Disney princesses.
Jake and Anakin were out so they got picked. :)
So there you have it.....Leia, Jem, Wonder Woman...........Jake and Anakin.

These pictures belong to a project which finally did not work out.
I am personally happy about how they turned out :)
I spotted this guy sleeping on one of the walkways in Hong Kong early one morning.
I don't know what his deal was because i could not read his signs in chinese characters.
But if appearances mean anything? .... he looked like he had some kind of fight in him ?
First Character = please
Second " = little... you can see a stick being broken into two smaller pieces.... pronounced: "siu"
Third = heart, pronounced "sum" ... you can see the 3 beats of the heart and the general heart shape in the larger stroke. Together with little it means "careful"... apparently the ancients knew that your heart contracts when focussing atention..
Fourth character = ? "push"?
Fifth character = door, pronounced "moon"...and obviously a pictograph of bar doors.

Some of these aren't GCW characters anymore but I thought I'd show them anyway.
The deleted characters from my Brickscalibur Adventuring Party contest entry. These were figures I made, but ended up not using, mostly because I didn't feel like they fit the vibe of the rest of the party. You can see the real party members HERE!
Falls Run #2
Blackwater Falls State Park
This waterfall on Falls Run is rarely seen or photographed, no official trails mark the way and many have no clue of its existance. Long before Kevin Adams - the popular waterfall guidebook author - wrote his waterfall guide to VA and WV, I sought out this falls. I started my search on the wrong side of the creek and followed what turned out to be a deer trail into an impenetrable rhododendron jungle surrounded by deer poo!
I soon found a much easier way down along Falls Run and although it does require fighting some rhody, it ends with a remarkable view of a waterfall full of character and beauty. From this vantage point one can also catch glimpses of Blackwater Falls and the Blackwater River down below.
You have to time it right to get good shots of the waterfalls on Falls Run as it is a smaller stream and requires lots of rainfall - in drier times it is but a trickle.
Enjoyed showing my friend Bill this waterfall on our recent trip earlier in the month . . .
Going to post and run - I have some windshield time in front of me today but hope to begin catching up w/ everyone this evening . . .

A newly improved version of my latest chibi characters. I gave all of them a new stand. Not much changed for Ahsoka, Scorpion and Wing Mario were originally made for the Rogue Olympics, so capped at 101 pieces, now I added a few pieces, so they are ready to be displayed at an upcoming exhibition.
