This is an almost adult bird (some hints of buff still apparent on the wings).
Eastern Chanting Goshawk is the default Chanting Goshawk of the drier areas of Kenya to the east of the Rift Valley. It is replaced in the Masai Mara and to the west by the Dark Chanting Goshawk.

Photo prise avec un "Simulateur" de fisheye (à 20€) vissé sur mon 40mm macro. Le résultat n'est pas si mal que ça, mais ça manque cruellement de piqué je trouve (sans parler des reflets du soleil impossible à éviter !).
Chantal was a new starter. She was in her 50s. She always had he lunch with me. To be honest chantal wasn't a nice person and always had an opinion about others which I didn't like. The only reason I tolerated her was because of her feet. She always wore the same two pairs of shoes, a pair of trapped heels and these ballet flats. Her feet always looked sweaty even on the morning when she came in on the morning. To be honest I didn't pay much attention to her all I wanted to do was lick her sole and suck her toes. Damn shame she only lasted a month.
"Football on Christmas day 1914"
An improvised football match between Allied and German soldiers took place on December 24, 1914. Separated by only a few tens of meters, the two armies fraternized during the Christmas truce time to exchange a few songs for the occasion and to think of other things. thing, by dragging himself around a tin can.

Chante, chante mes nuits d´amour
Si tu peux, chante le bonheur
Chante aussi tous les mots d´amour
Pour que danse le chagrin de mon cœur
This photo was taken on Piccadilly near Hyde Park Corner during the anti-Trump ban march from the US embassy to Downing Street.
On Friday morning thousands of protesters armed with placards filled most of Grosvenor Square outside the American Embassy in London. They were rallying to demand that prime minister Theresa May repudiate Donald Trump's shameful blanket entry ban on all Syrian, Iraqi, Somali, Yemeni, Iranian, Sudanese and Libyan nationals for the next 90 days as well as the indefinite ban on all Syrian refugees.
Some also demanded that his planned state visit as a guest of the queen be revoked and that the British government also take decisive action to help desparate refugees and ease the conditions within the UK for asylum seekers.
By 11 am an estimated ten thousand had gathered outside the US Embassy for a march on Downing Street organized by the Stop the War Coalition, Stand Up to Racism and the Muslim Association of Britain
Among the most frequent chants heard were "May shame on you", "dump Trump", "build bridges not walls" and "refugees are welcome here". Protesters pointed out that all the countries effected were Muslim majority nations and yet none of the countries targeted had any nationals implicated in any recent terrorist attack within the United States.
Ironically it is US foreign policy in the Middle East, including years of bombing and support for regional dictators that is one of the main causes of the current refugee crisis.
More of a story line shot this one ( not intended at the time ) showing Chantal , we were about to go and do a shoot when Dave the owner of the red Studebaker here asked me to come over and take a photo of the kids in the car ( last image ) .
Their mother and friend hoped in afterwards , I captured them also ( image to come ) then it was of with Chantal … it does get busy at these events for me .

Ke-chak, a form of Balinese music drama, originated in the 1930's and is performed primarily by men. Also known as the Ramayana Monkey Chant, the piece, performed by a circle of 100 or more performers wearing checked cloth around their waists, percussively chanting "cak" and throwing up their arms, depicts a battle from the Ramayana where the monkey-like Vanara helped Prince Rama fight the evil King Ravana. However, Kecak has roots in sanghyang, a trance-inducing exorcism dance.
