This is part of the channel that goes beneath the London Bridge in Havasu City, Arizona. We stayed on the top floor in the condos you can see to the right. I was waiting for that ferry to take me over to the California side of the lake, enjoying an adult beverage and the sunset. I usually hate waiting but for some reason I didn't mind this.
Have a great weekend!

Lion

Fyero was sleepy and not in the mood to be bothered by the camera, but she lives with photographers and it's the risk of sleeping on the dining room chair in front of the Christmas tree.
She knew the risks when she settled in, but I think you can see her displeasure in her expression.
Hope everyone has had a good day.

Here is my part of the BrickzLab Jedi Fallen Order collab. I decided to build a small section from the Dathomir Planet because, to me, it is an exciting Planet. The vegetation and the sith like architecture in a mix with the colors, make it a fascinating location to explore!
The BrickzLab Community is a great place to get to know new people and to have a fun time! We also host a lot of building challenges and hope to see you there! If you are interested, make sure to join the Discord Server
St Ouen, Jersey, Channel Islands - Sunset over the island of Guernsey. I didn't have my camera so it was the Galaxy s5 'phone that came to hand! It turnes out that this day' June 30th 2014 has been the hottest day in Jersey's history - coming in at just over 33 degrees!
This is yet another sunset photo taken in the Lemaire Channel as the "Akademik Ioffe" sailed on through this beautiful location.
In this shot, there is a little less light on the top of the mountain than there was in an earlier photo. That's because the light had finally started to fade.
I will never forget that magical 'morning' when the sun finally set, and knowing I've shared the experience with many other passengers is rather pleasing.
Now of course it's time to share what we saw that night so I hope you all enjoy what we found during the last, short summer in Antarctica.
For some unknown reason I'm unable to add tags to my photos tonight.

The chalk cliffs of the south-west coast of the Isle of Wight reach their highest point on what is now known as Tennyson Down, but was previously known as High Down - 147 metres above the waters of the English Channel.
After Tennyson's death in 1892 a local committee was formed to decide on an appropriate memorial to the poet who had made the island his home for 40 years.
The memorial - an Iona cross of Cornish granite - was almost certainly designed by Frank Loughborough Pearson, R.A., son of the well-known architect John Loughborough Pearson.
The site already had a beacon, a tarred wooden structure erected by Trinity House in 1893 and known as Nodes Beacon. Trinity House had to be approached for agreement to build a more permanent structure, and change the name to Tennyson Beacon.
As Douglas Freshfield, a Freshwater member of the committee, wrote to The Times:
The beacon cross should form a conspicuous and fitting memorial to one of England's greatest poets.
The beacon is 32 feet high and the cross itself is 24 feet high.
In 1895 the Board of Trade and Trinity House agreed to accept the memorial, that it should be known as 'The Tennyson Beacon' and that they would maintain it in future.
The cost of the memorial was estimated at £1,000 raised through subscription. The American poet Oliver Wendell Holmes formed a committee and raised £200 towards the cost.
By 1897 it had been completed and at 3pm on Friday 6th August the Archbishop of Canterbury performed the dedication ceremony. It was - intentionally - the 88th anniversary of the poet's birth.
The weather, as in this photograph - was glorious with sun and a cooling breeze.
The inscription reads:
In memory of Alfred, Lord Tennyson, this cross is raised as a beacon to sailors, by the people of Freshwater, and other friends in Europe and America.
I feel quite sure, said the second Lord Tennyson, after the dedication, that it is the memorial my father would have liked the best.
That is the positive side of the event. There was another, however, recorded in the pages of The Times a few days later:
that ill-organised, flat affair the other day, the unveiling of the Tennyson Beacon.
Whatever happened on that day, the cross stands almost unaffected by over one hundred years exposure to wind and weather.

I love it when a plan comes together and the results are better than I expected!
I first noticed this composition near the old Knysna airfield a couple of weeks ago. This channel is only full at high tide, so I checked the tide tables to see when the high tide coincided with the sunset. Then I waited patiently, keeping my fingers tightly crossed that we would get some nice high-level clouds perfectly positioned above the heads at exactly the right moment. That all happened on Saturday evening. I even had a beautiful model to include in my photo to help convey a sense of scale. I couldn't have asked for more!
Went for a walk along the river in Fort Langley this morning. Saw this brilliant orange kayak against the autumn leaves and darkening sky.
Along the strait of St. Anthony (Croatian: Kanal sv. Ante) a wonderful hiking & biking track is made. This is the view from the highest lookout point,

I love Bettie Page's 50's pinup style. This Femi Set from Baetik felt very much in that same style to me as soon as I put it on. The colors and textures are fantastic! The little frilly lace bit is not overdone - just right. And the ribbon belt is a sweet finishing touch.
The fatpack comes with 12 solids and 4 prints
The mini-packs come with 4 solids or 4 prints
It's fitted for Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Belleza Freya, and is available at the Baetik main store.
