Double exposure over expired Tesco ISO 400 film (Repackaged Solaris colour fg400)

 

Original pictures were taken summer 2002 by my sister, and unknowingly double exposed by myself in november 2024.

 

This and the pictures posted over the next few days are an exploration of our past that has forced us to confront some difficult truths.

Street Food Joints & Abandoned Kittens always seem to go together, esp after spring / in early summer. We do try to teach local kids how to treat these babies as they really have no idea: either the kids are terrified of the kittens (as kittens are dirty, dangerous - as their parents teach them) or kids are horrible to kittens (for kittens are dirty and dangerous).

What is the light source?

The natural light source used is the light that dispurses from the sun.

What is the quality of light?

The lighting is great for illuminating the grooves in the mountains and plays well into creating a natural contrast.

What is the editing choice? B&W or Color?

The editing choice is in color.

Where is the light coming from?

The lighting appears to be coming from a point in the back left of the photo. It appears that the sun is either rising or setting.

What is the location?

Santa Fe New Mexico

What is their angle of view?

They have an aerial angle of view capturing the picture from above to encompass all the mountains..

What other elements were necessary to have created this image?

I love the texture that is created by the mountains and their natural grooves.
