This M.I.T sweatshirt is something I can date back to at least the age of 15. It is pretty battered and holey. It has all kind of stains, including one from a pretty bad nose bleed I had when I was in college.
I focused a lot of my energy as a young adult on getting into a really good college, but then changed mymind...
This is the descendant of a Harvard sweatshirt I had that belonged to a friend of mine who passed away. It was stolen from my workplace when I was 14, so I decided to replace it with M.I.T. I was probably watching a little bit too much Good Will Hunting at the time.
It's very comfy, and this challenge is a good excuse to wear it today.

Week#123 - Before & After - I love reflections. This was taken at McLaren's Falls in Tauranga awhile back while shooting fall/autumn photos and I have used the resulting photo in another recent challenge. I obviously turned the photo upside down first then I worked in PSE15 using the b&w newspaper treatment and posterized it to enhance it in order to create an illusion, which is always such fun for me. I do like to simply create, when I have the time!!
Number 341 of my 365 photo challenge - A cross-processed and split-toned, long exposure, urban image of rush hour traffic on the M90 near Perth, Scotland.
When I saw this man I felt that he has been through many years of hard work and problems, his eyes were full of sadness and dispair, too sad to even cry.
He was in Souq Wagef looking for people who want their bags to be carried so they tip him. I felt very heart broken and it made me realize how privileged many of us are and all the things we have we take for granted.

They are a challenge for aspiring macro-photographers, so I had to have one. With some patience you’ll find them on a leaf somewhere not to wet. And then the real challenge begins, finding one that stays in focus. A great sport I thought.
Tantos retos y tantas cosas por hacer cada día que me pasa el día volando. Ayer uno de los temas del día era "alcayatas, clavos o tornillos". Esta ha sido mi aportación.
Bendita fotografía !!!
Due to the quarantine and lots of friends photography speaking today's challenge was "spite" and that was my contribution.

This challenge is to Photograph your image in portrait orientation.
I have a lot of buldings around here and found them good for the challenge, I liked the different colour brickwork and the fact that this house had 2 styles of chimney pots and a television arial!
My thanks to all who visit and comment it is appreciated
Theme in the Hiekkaoliivi`s Saturday Surprise -challenge was "Joy". I think I have to explain a little bit this one.
My mum has been in the hospital over three weeks and my joy of christmas was that she could come home for the Christmas Eve and spend that day with us. But still... I felt so bad when we had to take her back to hospital in the evening.
That image what I used is from the Hugo Simberg`s painting called Wounded angel (I`m not sure is that right translation, In Finnish: Haavoittunut enkeli). I love that painting!
Simberg painted that after he had been in the hospital over six month. He said that he wanted to fight through the illness because he want to get that painting finished.
Card is not available.
Came across this team recently, so I thought I'd take a quick photo of the group! It's such a weird group, but the more I think about it the more it really works out!

Something old.
I was struggling to find something to photograph for this part of the challenge, not because I don't have anything old, but because I am spoiled for choice!
In the end, I went with this old painted 26W night-light bulb, which has been gathering dust on a bookshelf since my daughter was little. I long since replaced all incandescent light bulbs in the house, and have nearly finished replacing the last few compact fluorescent bulbs with LED equivalents. As such, there is no way that I'm ever going to use this bulb again, but it's just too pretty to throw away.
