growing outdoors in Northern California! This is the first time I've had this variety bloom, will be interesting to see how it tastes! this plant gets blasting full sun from sun up all the way to sunset! It's been a relatively cold spring and summer up here, but a few heat waves and many luke warm days keep these plants growing. Took 2 years from planting to first flower.

Ceylon Scimitar Babbler (Pomatorhinus melanurus). Sub species holdsworthi is an endemic resident of hills and dry zone in Sri Lanka. Near threatened.

Ibis, heron and wild buffalo co-exist peacefully in the Minneriya lake. (Minneriya, Sri Lanka, June 2011).

Last Friday night on the Ceylon Bridge.

The event was put on by Geneva Proud for the Indiana Landmarks

Foundation's Northeast Indiana Annual Regional Meeting.

 

I played the fiddle at this event. Seems so long ago.
