rustic toilet at the Pedlar's Cafe in Galle

On the beach at Negombo perched on an outrigger catamaran.

Looks a bit droopy on the hanger, but I love the fit of this dress, and loved sewing the tana lawn.

Please meet “Ceylon”. My inspiration for her was her darling little miniature porcelain tea pot & just ran with the whole tea pot theme : ) Her name comes from a Traditional Orange English Tea. I am so absolutely delighted with how she turned out.

She’s up on Ebay until Friday, February 12th, 2010 @ 6:30 pm paficic time.

You can find a link to My Ebay Auction on my Profile page.

Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is a Buddhist temple in the city of Kandy, Sri Lanka. It is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha. Since ancient times, the relic has played an important role in local politics because it is believed that whoever holds the relic holds the governance of the country. Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings and is a World Heritage Site mainly due to the temple.

The drumming ceremony is spectaular to watch, but is something of an assault on the senses in a confined space

It last for about half an hour.

I acquired a pup of this plant last August or so of 2016. The plant overwintered outdoors in zone 9 under greenhouse plastic. Literally, greenhouse plastic was placed over the plant. It was watered twice, but only because a violent 65mph wind storm blew off the plastic.

I've had much better success overwintering newly established corms this way much better than cutting off all the leaves and placing them in the garage. For one, there's no need to harden the plant off it's already acclimated to full sun and has started to take off now that we had a freakish warm week (been in the 80's).

Variety isn't 100% confirmed (haven't fruited it yet) but comes from a reputable source who has shown pictures of the plant fruiting to confirm ID.
