TUNE!

Thanks to Vanmoer for the roses.... ohh hrmm that didn't come out right, oh dear... although, I must say, it's not the first time a guy has given me roses... *drops mic and walks offstage* :P

... and it's all Lisa's fault.

Our intrepid leader Lisa (aka Red Stiletto) arranged an outing for the FFF+ group and promised us that she'd ordered a cracker sunset. It seemed at first she wasn't going to deliver on her promise, but as we all started to pack up and head back it started to colour up .... and up ... and up!!

Someone, who shall remain nameless packed and unpacked his gear 3 times!! Oh ye' of little faith... :))

Folded and created by Ryo Kamiya in 2006 (from display in Japan). An in progress design status 2006-2011, head part needs to be completed....Not related to the other kamiya, the name littlekamiya was given as a new creator. As far as folding interpretation for this model goes was (mentioned in an older bos mag): CP for satoshi's Cerberus was analyzed from Ryo and this was created afterwards.

I love the shape of Gali from Soy - a huge bell shaped overcoat that comes in two versions , animated and not. Together with matching hair accessory - Both with wonderful textures.

Agent Falsworth Operation Cerberus After-Action Report, Log 1

Agent Assigned: James Montgomery Falsworth, Level 6

Report:

These solo ops are painful. No overwatch, no sniper support, nothing. Someone needs to make a stealth bot or something, like those Predators the USAF uses. That would be useful. Well, gotta get to the objective. Terrorist cell, that’s what they say. Could be connected to the one back in Iran that we lost Rumlow too. He was a damn good agent, that’s for sure. But, in this job, people die. All the time. Damn shame too. Man, this low-crawl takes for ever. Almost reached the treeline, so I pull out the MP5. These things are old, and big… If I wanted a full-sized carbine, I’d use the bloody M4. I see an MG nest up ahead, and a patrolman with an RPD. Little redundant, but hey, he’ll probably miss me a bunch, if it comes to that. Do they have a roadblock right in front of their MG nest?! How stupid are these people? Not like I’m complaining, makes things easier for me.

Guard 1: Hans! Der Herr St...k.. will dich jetzt sehen!

Guard 2: Danke Herr ….ow! ...l ..d..!

Guard 1: ...l ..d..!

Lost that last part because a bloody truck passed by. Wonderful. No matter, not like I understand whatever they were speaking anyway. Still, could be useful. But, the turret gunner just left, and the guy with the RPD walks away. This is just too odd. Have I been spotted? Not sure, but I have to keep going, as if I haven’t been. I advance slowly, as I don’t want to be caught, but maybe am more careless and quick than I should be. No matter, as I get to the barrier, I take cover, and check in with Base. From there I see an entrance, and cannot see any sentries from my position. This doesn’t feel right, I swear….

END LOG ONE

So, this series is continuing, just in case you though I would drop it. Finals end next week for me, and then I'm out of school for the summer. Expect a lot more activity then! Woohoo! Got to finish/make a lot of customs, which I think I will end up scrapping most tbh. To many to make atm. Might be able to get my hands on the Ant-Man set in time to make him before release, but hey, this is me we're talking about :P

Also, got something really cool planed with Pretorian and a few other people that is a bit out of the norm for me, but I think you will enjoy it. So yea, thanks for reading, hope you like it, Part 2 Coming soon!

Designed from the outset as a hard top four seater, the rear seats are noticeably smaller and the car is often referred to as a 2 2.. The Cerbera is a lighter car than it looks with weights varying from 1060 to 1200kg. Its name is derived from Cerebus, the three-headed beast of Greek legend that guarded the entrance of Hades.

Prior to the Cerbera, TVR had purchased V8 engines from Rover and then tuned them for their own use. When Rover was purchased by BMW, Peter Wheeler did not want to risk supply chain problems should the Germans decide to stop manufacturing the engine. In response, he engaged the services of race engineer Al Melling to design a V8 engine that TVR could manufacture in-house and even potentially offer for sale to other car-makers. The result was called the Speed Eight (official designation 'AJP8') after Al Melling, John Ravenscroft and Peter Wheeler, a 4.2 litre V8 rated at 360 hp . and gave the Cerbera a top speed of 297 km/h (185 mph). A 4.5 litre version of the engine was later offered with 420 hp

In 1999 for the 2000 model year the styling was modified slightly with the head lights modified to more closely resemble those of the Tuscan. The V8 engine was designed in house by former race engineer Al Melling the V8 4.2 ltr was quoted at 360bhp with this 4.5 quoted at 420 bhp.

Shot 12.09.2021 at Cars in the Park, Lichfield Ref. 121-416

A three headed saguaro on a hillside of Molino Canyon. Shot in digital infrared.

For the last full day of our short break in Italy we headed 179Km south from San Nicola Arcela to the port of Villa San Giovanni, from where you can catch a ferry to Sicily. The Straits are a little over 5km wide at this point and high speed ferry takes around 20 minutes to make the crossing into Messina central district where it moors next to the train ferry berths. I would have liked to have used a train ferry, but the times would not have worked out for this visit.

Messina was already very hot - 40C - but the week after we left the Cerebus heat wave took it up to 47C! At least there are public water points dotted around the City and you can always pop into one of the delightfully cool cafes for an iced Granita!

An image of the three-headed demon Cerberus is in the Acropolis Museum at Athens, Greece. The capture of Cerebus was the 12th and final labor of Hercules.

This was finally just right

after I worked on it in photoshop.

However, as soon as I uploaded it here to flickr

it showed up as waaay too dark---

you couldn't see much of anything

or any of the surrounding colour-

so I had to lighten again.

Everyone has different settings on the computer

so I have no idea

how it appears to anyone else.

My lightening it

could have made it look worse

on someone else's screen.

i normally don't dig these motionshots. still i like the way the biceps stayed focused in this one.

Able Seaman Arthur Thomas Wood was born 21 April 1921 at Berry in New South Wales, and joined the Royal Australian Navy in 1938 at the age of 17. After training at HMAS CEREBUS he joined HMAS SYDNEY in early 1939. When World War II was declared, SYDNEY was ordered to serve in the Mediterranean for escort duty. Wood was aboard SYDNEY when it sank the Italian cruisers ESPERO and BARTOLOMEO COLLEONI in July 1940.

These photographs and postcards depict some of the sailors, equipment and activities of HMAS SYDNEY in the months prior to the sinking of the vessel. They provide an interesting commentary of the operations and work carried out aboard HMAS SYDNEY prior to its fateful end, such as the sinking of Italian ships ESPERO and BARTOLOMEO COLLEONI in the Mediterranean.
