Cepillo para ropa hecho de varias capas de fibras vegetales muy suaves y flexibles. Parecido a los cepillos de los peluqueros. Clothes brush made of several layers of very soft and flexible vegetable fibers. Similar to hairdresser’s brushes.

Origin: Bottlebrushes are members of the genus Melaleuca and belong to the family Myrtaceae. They are closely related to paperbark melaleucas, which also have 'bottlebrush' shaped flower spikes. Most Bottlebrushes occur in the east and south-east of Australia. Two species occur in the south-west of Western Australia and four species in New Caledonia. Bottlebrushes can be found growing from Australia's tropical north to the temperate south. They often grow in damp or wet conditions such as along creek beds or in areas which are prone to floods.
This species is probably the best known bottlebrush and is widely cultivated. The bright red flower-spikes appear in summer and autumn. Crimson Bottlebrush grows well in wet conditions and usually reaches 4 m. Plants should be lightly pruned and fertilised after flowering. Neglected or mis-shapen plants respond to hard pruning.

I've missed so many themes in 2020, so there was plenty to choose from – but the "Brush" theme from March actually wasn't on top of my list of what to do for Redux at all; in fact when I flipped through my "MM 2020" folder I even noticed that I'd skipped the theme already back in March: So how should I be able to come up with a nice photo just now?
Well, first of all there is this new brush that I've just bought and which is still in it's "virgin" state, because I thought I'd take a macro of it before I start using it in undoubtely futile attempts at taming my by now totally come apart haircut. So far, so boring. And I really thought that the first few test shots were kind of boring, until... well, until I looked at them on the monitor and noticed this perfectly sharp reflection of the bristles in the round tip of one single bristle (which is only 3 mm / 0,11 inches long). Something I hadn't even noticed while taking the photo.
Unfortunately, this first chance hit wasn't such a well composed image, because the in focus bristles are not where one would like to see them (rule of thirds), so I tried to reproduce the reflection. Have you ever used a magnifying glass to check your camera screen? This is what I did. And while I managed to get sharper, better composed images, I wasn't able to reproduce that clear and sharp reflection; I got reflections, but they never looked as nice and bright as the one(s) I got in my first attempt. So I decided to go with what I already had, clumsy composition or not. I thought about cropping the image, but that would have taken away the nice bokeh and golden sheen (light reflected by a piece of golden tinfoil) from the upper part of my image. What I also like are those "eyes" on the bristle tips, although they seem to say "Forget it, you'll never get your hair right!" ;)

Una muy curiosa isla en uno de los ibonets que rodean el barranco de l'Aigüeta de Batisielles. Como no tiene nombre, me he tomado la libertad de bautizarlo (aunque tampoco me he roto mucho los cuernos XD).

Man nehme: eine Pilzbürste, einen Rührlöffel aus edlem Olivenholz und ein Buttermesser. Drapiere das Ganze fein ordentlich auf einem Glitzermoos vor einem Badezimmerspiegel. Dann nimmst Du Deine Camera; OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA; schraubst ein kleines Tischstativ an sie, gibst ein wenig Licht dazu und drückst ab. Et Voilà fertig ist der Augenschmaus zum heutigen Thema!!!
Take: a mushroom brush, a stirring spoon made of fine olive wood and a butter knife. Drape the whole thing neatly on a glittering moss in front of a bathroom mirror. Then take your camera; OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA; attach a small table-top tripod to it, add a little light and squeeze. Et Voilà, the eye candy for today's theme! I'm so happy!!!

Prenez une brosse à champignons, une cuillère de bois d'olivier et un couteau à beurre. Drapez le tout soigneusement sur une mousse scintillante devant un miroir de salle de bain. Prenez ensuite votre appareil photo; OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA; attachez-y un petit trépied de table, éclairez-le un peu et appuyez dessus. Et Voilà est prêt à regarder le sujet du jour!!!

Coge un cepillo de setas, una cuchara de madera de olivo fino y un cuchillo para mantequilla. Póngalo todo en un musgo brillante frente al espejo del baño. A continuación, tome su cámara; OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA; fije un pequeño trípode de sobremesa a ella, déle un poco de luz y presiónela hacia abajo. Et Voila, el caramelo de ojos está listo para el tema de hoy!!!

Pegue uma escova de cogumelos, uma colher de madeira de oliveira fina e uma faca de manteiga. Coloque tudo em um musgo brilhante na frente do espelho do banheiro. Em seguida, leve a sua câmera; CÂMARA DIGITAL OLYMPUS; prenda um pequeno trípode de mesa, dê um pouco de luz e empurre-o para baixo. Et Voila, o doce do olho está pronto para o tópico de hoje! !!!

Prendete un pennello ai funghi, un cucchiaio di legno di oliva fine e un coltello da burro. Tracciare il tutto ordinatamente su un muschio scintillante davanti a uno specchio da bagno. Poi prendete la vostra fotocamera; OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA; attaccateci un piccolo treppiede da tavolo, dategli un po' di luce e premerlo. Et Voila, la caramella occhio è pronto per l' argomento di oggi!!!

El calistemo (Callistemon Citrinus) es un arbusto de hoja perenne que pertenece a la familia de las mirtáceas. Sus hojas son pequeñas y muy alargadas, pero destaca, sobre todo, por sus originales flores que tienen la forma de espigas, similares a plumeros de color rojo intenso. Es una planta de porte grande que crece, normalmente, hasta los dos metros de altura; aunque hay ejemplares que pueden llegar a los cinco metros. Una característica muy llamativa del calistemo es que desprende un intenso aroma a limón cuando se estrujan sus hojas.
Es una planta mediterránea que crece muy bien al lado del mar donde los inviernos no son muy duros y la humedad ambiental es elevada. Necesita, sobre todo, mucho sol; pero en invierno soportará bien las heladas ya que el calistemo es bastante resistente.
Le gustan los terrenos ricos en los que el agua no se acumule fácilmente y se encharque, aunque se adapta a cualquier tipo de terreno por pobre que sea.
En climas muy extremos es necesario proteger la planta del viento.
No necesita abonar aunque se puede hacer durante la floración, en primavera y verano. Para su mantenimiento, es necesario hacer podas de formación para que la planta permanezca bonita. Y si se quitan con frecuencia las flores marchitas en primavera la floración durará fácilmente hasta el otoño.
Se multiplica mediante semillas aunque no todas darán flores espectaculares por lo que, la mejor forma de multiplicación para tener una planta hermosa, es mediante estacas que enraizarán fácilmente.
La cochinilla, el pulgón y la araña roja son las plagas que suelen atacar a la planta.
El calistemo, actualmente, es una flor muy apreciada en floristería y decoración.

Das tägliche Ritual, Ihr kennt es alle, der/die Eine geht trällernd ins Bad, die/der Andere ist ein Morgenmuffel, der nicht gerne am Morgen angesprochen werden möchte. Die Lerche und die Nachtigall, ich gehöre in die zweite Kategorie.
Nachdem Frühstück mache ich mich für den Tag fertig, ein Blick in den Spiegel, er hat eine wichtige Rolle indem morgendlichen Ritual und los geht es. Das was Ihr auf meinem Foto seht, gehört dazu. Ohne Rouge auf meinen Lippen und eine leichte Korrektur meiner Augenbrauen gehe ich nicht aus dem Haus, einige kleine Spritzer Parfüm, e voila, fertig!. Nun kann der Tag beginnen.
Ich wünsche Euch einen erfolgreichen und sonnigen Tag, liebe Freunde.
The daily ritual, you all know it, one goes to the bathroom singing, the other is a morning grouch who does not want to be addressed in the morning. The lark and the nightingale, I belong in the second category.
After breakfast I get ready for the day, a look in the mirror, he has an important role by morning ritual and off it goes. What you see in my photo is part of it. Le rituel quotidien, vous le savez tous, l'un va aux toilettes en chantant, l'autre est un grincheux du matin qui ne veut pas être abordé le matin. L'alouette et le rossignol, j'appartiens à la deuxième catégorie.
Après le petit déjeuner, je me prépare pour la journée, un regard dans le miroir, il a un rôle important par le rituel du matin et c'est parti. Ce que vous voyez sur ma photo en fait partie. Sans rougir sur mes lèvres et une légère correction de mes sourcils je ne sors pas de la maison, quelques petites éclaboussures de parfum, et voilà, c'est fait ! Maintenant, la journée peut commencer.

Here is the proposal for this challenge, it is actually a mixture of bath and water.
Made on black surface that creates good reflections, illuminated with a led on the left of the picture.
Wet brush in fact if you get too close you can see drops of water (what a pity that I realized later upss!!) and then with a spray I wet the whole scene, accompanied by my figures hoscale.

Baño , se encendió el cepillo y se lio una buena.Toca limpiar
Aquí va la propuesta para este reto, en realidad es una mezcla de baño y agua .
Realizada sobre superficie negra que crea buenos reflejos, iluminada con un led a la izquierda de la fotografía.
Cepillo humedecido de hecho si acercas mucho se ven gotas de agua (que pena que me di cuenta despues upss!! ) y luego con un spray moje toda la escena, acompañada de mis figuras hoscale.
