Just playing around with my new camera's settings.

Second floor of collapsed Oddfellows hall in Brighton, IL

Given a custom red paint job by a previous owner (which was quite badly scuffed up in shipping). Original levolier pull switch also broken in shipping and had to be replaced. Has the Adaptair mechanically reversible airflow system.

From the early '70s, with the three-speed, 1.9 amp shaded pole motor and pot metal trumpet canopy. Within the next few years the switch housing would change shape slightly, the pot metal trumpet canopy replaced with a shorter, two-piece plastic one, and the fans would start to be marketed more for residential use as "The Original Olde Tyme Ceiling Fan," later shortened to simply "The Original."

This is what you call a lazy picture.

Just fooling around with the camera, trying to fall asleep and get rid of my headache. I thought it would be fun to see how the ceiling fan looked as it was going around.

This is in the dining room, but will be moved into the kitchen nook.

Office/nursery ceiling fan - showing the damage from the last tenant

Has anyone heard of this happening? I came home the other day, walked into the den and there was the ceiling fan on the floor! WHAT? It had been running on low. I'm just glad I wasn't underneath it and neither were my cats! Luckily, the only damage it did was put some nicks in the top of the chair I use when I'm working at my desk. Whew!

The weather around here is crazy....almost 70 degrees here today. By the time we got home, the bedroom was pretty warm so we turned the ceiling fan on to get some air. I needed a project picture for today so here you go.
