Chandeliers, interior and exterior lighting fixtures and ceiling fans add the finishing accents to beautiful home interior designs.
new fan in - it sure is nice to have it done, but we bought 2, so Matt's office is yet to come.
Also, look your last on this awful wall color. I hated it since they day I slathered on the first brush-full. Watch for updates later this year...
This fan moves a tremendous amount of air. We bought another one like it to replace the more traditional fan in our bedroom (the old bedroom fan is going to the outdoor kitchen patio).
Our Fanny Bobble Head met the Easter Bunny earlier today. We are currently running a contest to win a Fanny. Very easy and you get to be a smart ass. It's a win-win. www.bigassfans.com/contest/
I was in my friend's living room while our kids were playing in her backyard, and I had to take a photo of her fan spinning. Partly for my son (he loves fans) and partly because I was curious how the camera would capture the spinning of the blades. It was going fast, but you could still see the individual blades; and being as there was quite a bit of natural light, I was surprised they came out almost invisible in this.
The other thing you might notice is the pull chains in focus. This thing didn't shake a bit despite being on high. I was impressed.
Motion in stills is what we're doing in We're Here! and since today's weather has a high of 12° Fahrenheit (-11° for the rest of the world), I'm not going outside. Like, at all. For any reason.

Back uploading images after a long hiatus due to work and other things.
Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. Look at that shoddy work in the back. And to do it in a law firm's office!
Is it just me, or does that vent thingy on the stove make it look like a nuclear device?
OK, MagikMaster! Turn it on; I'm ready!
This is gonna be a fun ride!!
TheMagikMaster: "OK, just hold on, Benny!"
sometimes I wonder why he puts up with me. then, like a child, he comes to me and tells me to grab my camera. "look," he says. "have you gotten a picture of the sun shining through the window yet?"
yeah I'm a nerd.

October 26, 2021 - Columbus Landmarks Foundation's Building Arts Studio at Fort Hayes Metropolitan Education Center
"We are proud to announce an innovative, new program at Fort Hayes Metropolitan Education Center: Columbus Landmarks Building Arts Studio. Fort Hayes is part of Columbus City Schools and includes an Arts & Academic High School and Career Center on the historic 1862 military campus near downtown Columbus.
Working with students enrolled in Fort Hayes’ Construction Management Program, the Building Arts Studio brings hands-on preservation education and training to the curriculum, preparing students for careers in the high-demand historic building trades. The classes take place in the c1890s gatehouse located at the main entrance of the Fort Hayes campus on Jack Gibbs Boulevard. Students will make headway on the restoration and rehabilitation of this visible, campus gateway that has been vacant for decades.
The Building Arts Studio is made possible from a generous $50,000 program grant recently awarded to Columbus Landmarks from the Ann Sherry Foundation, which funds innovation in public education; and from annual operating support from the Greater Columbus Arts Council.
We are honored to embark on this unique public education opportunity not available anywhere else in U.S. Our goal is to create a knowledgeable and skilled workforce to meet local demand while improving the Fort Hayes campus for future generations." We went to a party, and our hosts had this ceiling fan in their living room. I thought it had an interesting play of shadows, shades, and geometry.
