A corner of the room, showing the walls and ceiling. A fluroscent light fixture is there. I have no idea what is hanging from the ceiling -- in the darkness, I didn't realize it was there until looking at the photos later... Anyone out there with experience in this type of secure environment? Any information would be greatly appreciated (particularly due to the location of this site).

I took this picture in the London Natural History Museum with my Nikon Coolpix quick shot camera. I was really impressed by this ceiling and the way it photographed. Definitely a must see if you go to London.
Another one. The ceilings are the most interesting parts of many of the Vatican's rooms and galleries.
This shot was taken in the Amsterdam Arena Stadium and here we can see the ceiling of the stadium which can be closed/opened in 25 minutes.

In the early 4th century A.D. the Roman emperor Constantin initiated the construction of an representative palace. Length 67 meters; Hight 30 meters. The building nowadays being used as a church.
The ceiling of the Norman Palatine Chapel in the Kings Palace in Palermo. Quite breathtaking, and very difficult to photograph. Suits the HDR look quite though.
St Martin's is a lovely church in the centre of Birmingham with a strong arts-and-crafts feel to the design.
In the basement there is a glass ceiling consisting of many pieces of beautiful art glass, with the sun shining down from the atrium above.
