This is a beautiful area of the Milky Way in the constellation of Cassiopeia on the border with Cepheus. The image depicts the famous "Bubble Nebula", indicated with the acronyms "NGC7635", C11, LBN548, Sh2-162. In its surroundings together with the well-known open cluster "M52 (NGC7654)", with its prospective neighbor MWSC 3726 (from the Milky Way Star Cluster catalog), other Ha emission nebulae stand out, such as "NGC7538", Sh2-159, Sh2-161, and dark nebulae such as LDN1231, LDN1232, LDN1225. (see notes on the image)

Probably the 5h and 45 min of narrow band integration is not much (it would have been better to integrate 12-15h), but in this period of the year (winter) it would take even months.

Nevertheless, the f/4 focal ratio gave me the ability to extract a decent amount of weak signal without carrying too much noise.

NGC7023 – Iris Nebula 1,300 light-years away, in the constellation Cepheus. Within the Iris itself, dusty nebular material surrounds a hot, young star. The dominant color of the brighter reflection nebula is blue, characteristic of dust grains reflecting starlight. Central filaments of the reflection nebula glow with a faint reddish photoluminesence as some dust grains effectively convert the star's invisible ultraviolet radiation to visible red light. Infrared observations indicate that this nebula contains complex carbon molecules known as PAHs. The pretty blue petals of the Iris Nebula span about six light-years. The colorful field-of-view stretches almost five Full Moons across the sky.

Cassiopeia is part of the northen hemisphere, for me it forms an E or M. smile emoticon

The constellation is named after Cassiopeia, the queen of Aethiopia. Cassiopeia was the wife of Cepheus, King of Aethiopia and mother of Princess Andromeda. Cepheus and Cassiopeia were placed next to each other among the stars, along with Andromeda. She was placed in the sky as a punishment for her boast that her daughter Andromeda was more beautiful than the Nereids or, alternatively, that she herself was more beautiful than the sea nymphs. As punishment, she was forced to wheel around the North Celestial Pole on her throne, spending half of her time clinging to it so she does not fall off, and Poseidon decreed that Andromeda should be bound to a rock as prey for the monster Cetus, who was ravishing the Ethiopian coast. Andromeda was then rescued by the hero Perseus, whom she later married.

NCG 7129 is a reflection nebula located 3.300 light years away in Cepheus.

A young open cluster comprising about 130 stars is responsible for illuminating the surrounding nebula and for its curious rosebud shape.

It has an apparent size of 7 x 7 arc min and a 11.5 visual magnitude.

Philippe François Marie Leclerc de Hauteclocque, (22 November 1902 – 28 November 1947), was a French general during the Second World War. He became Marshal of France posthumously in 1952, and is known in France simply as le maréchal Leclerc or just Leclerc.

colnect.com/en/stamps/stamp/211314-General_Leclerc-Defini...

The son of an aristocratic family, de Hauteclocque graduated from the École spéciale militaire de Saint-Cyr, the French military academy, in 1924. After service with the French Occupation of the Ruhr and in Morocco, he returned to Saint-Cyr as an instructor. He was awarded the croix de guerre des théâtres d'opérations extérieures for leading goumiers in an attack on caves and ravines on Bou Amdoun on 11 August 1933. During the Second World War he fought in the Battle of France. He then became one of the first to make his way to Britain to fight with the Free French under General Charles de Gaulle, adopting the nom de guerre of Leclerc so that his wife and children would not be put at risk if his name appeared in the papers. He was sent to French Equatorial Africa, where he rallied local leaders to the Free French cause, and led a force against Gabon, whose leaders supported Vichy France. From Chad he led raids into Italian-controlled Libya. After his forces captured Kufra, he had his men swear an oath known today as the Serment de Koufra, in which they pledged to fight on until their flag flew over the Strasbourg Cathedral.

The forces under his command, known as L Force, campaigned in Libya in 1943, covered the Eighth Army's inland flank during its advance into Tunisia, and participated in the attack on the Mareth Line. L Force was then transformed into the 2e Division Blindée, although it was often referred to as La Division Leclerc. It fought under Leclerc's command in the Battle of Normandy, and participated in the liberation of Paris and Strasbourg. After the end of World War II in Europe in May 1945, he was given command of the French Far East Expeditionary Corps (Corps expéditionnaire français en Extrême-Orient, CEFEO). He represented France at the surrender of the Japanese Empire in Tokyo Bay on 2 September 1945. He quickly perceived the necessity for a political solution to the nascent conflict in Indochina, but once again was ahead of his countrymen, and was recalled to France in 1946. He was killed in an air crash in Algeria in 1947.

The Capture of Kufra (Prise de Koufra, Italian: Cufra) was part of the Allied Western Desert Campaign during the Second World War. Kufra is a basin and oasis group in the Kufra District of south-eastern Cyrenaica in the Libyan Desert. In 1940, it was part of the colony of Italian Libya Libia Italiana, which was part of Africa Settentrionale Italiana (ASI), which was established in 1934. With some early assistance from the British Long Range Desert Group, Kufra was captured by Free French Forces when the Italian and Libyan garrison surrendered after a siege from 31 January to 1 March 1941.

Isaac Newton formulated the law of universal gravitation.

Albert Einstein formulated General Relativity, which is a relativistic theory of gravitation.

The gravity is a natural phenomenon by which the objects with mass are attracted to each other, effect mainly observable in the interaction between the planets, galaxies and other objects of the universe. It is one of the four fundamental interactions that cause the acceleration experienced by a physical body in the vicinity of an astronomical object. It is also called gravitational interaction or gravitation.

If a body is located in the vicinity of a planet, an observer at a fixed distance from the planet will measure an acceleration of the body directed towards the central area of ??that planet, if such a body is not subject to the effect of other forces.

Gravity is one of the four fundamental interactions observed in nature. It originates the large-scale movements that are observed in the universe: the orbit of the Moon around the Earth, the orbits of the planets around the Sun, etc.

Wizard Nebula is only 8,000 light-years away and in the photograph shown above surrounding NGC 7380, forming an even open cluster. Visually, the interaction of stars, gas and dust generated a way that for some vaguely reminiscent of a wizard medieval.La Wizard Nebula can be seen with a small telescope pointing towards Cefeo. Although this nebula will only last a few million years, some of the stars forming within it will live much longer than our sun.

The Elephant's Trunk nebula is a concentration of interstellar gas and dust within the much larger ionized gas region IC 1396 located in the constellation Cepheus about 2,400 light years away from Earth. This nebula is now thought to be a site of star formation, containing several very young (less than 100,000 yr) stars that were discovered in infrared images in 2003. Two relatively older stars are present in a small, circular cavity in the head of the globule. Winds from these young stars may have emptied the cavity.
