With week one of Sydney WorldPride now in the books of herstory, I've been pretty busy being the (unofficial) ambassador for the region.
After being in a corporate suit all day, it was nice to change into something a little more casual....

It has been nearly ten years since I started to experiment with my life and how I present myself to the world.
Most of it was fulfilling life long dreams and fantasies, but I couldn't resist going back to the tried and true of being a maid, except this time, in my own house.....

This photo was shot with a D700. My D700! I've upgraded and also switched to Nikon. Yep, I'm a traitor and I couldn't be happier! :)

Hot Girl Summer here in Australia is presently on hold as thunderstorms and days of rainy weather on end have hit my part of the woods.

It's no secret that I love autumn and winter.
While there will be some who don't like the bitter cold and gusty winds, those two seasons are the time of the year that I thrive and turn out some stunning fashion designs, especially with boots and puffer jackets.....
Out of hibernation after a winter to forget.
This year has been nothing but hell.
What was supposed to be the beginning of the next stage of my transgender transition journey, was rudely interrupted by a global pandemic that has claimed countless lives.
My life has fallen down, my house is a mess.
But I might have lost all my confidence and progress, but that isn’t going to stop me from pushing on.
This French maid knows how to bounce back when things look bleak, and with spring officially here, it’s time to blow out the cobwebs....

With Mardi Gras just around the corner, I still haven't decided on what to wear on the night of the parade viewing party.
That all changed this morning when I ordered this gem of an outfit!
"I'm guess you are wondering what is under this trenchcoat, dearie? Well, if you came first a dinner and a show...."
I'm not normally the type that is into trenchcoats, instead preferring puffer jackets and teddy bear coats for that sophisticated, high class, mid life mother figure style.
So, I couldn't resist picking up a trenchcoat at the local K-Hub (country/rural/regional K-Mart) and combining that with my boots and gloves to live out yet another childhood dream that I denied of experiencing....

Well, from being the ambassador for both the Highlands and Goulburn for Sydney WorldPride, to marching in my first Mardi Gras parade with the eyes of the world watching and going through life's little inconveniences (e.g. cost of living, family drama etc), I've been quite a busy little girl.
So much so, I decided to pick up a new puffer jacket and unleash my inner sophisticated motherly self.....

A chill is blowing through the air.
While the heat of summer is in the northern hemisphere, I am gearing up for yet another winter.
But before the cold weather really starts to get settled in, I decided to show off one more of my autumn (aka fall) ensemble....
Winter isn't always about puffer jackets, gloves and wetlook clothing.
Apart from the usual clothing outlets and online shopping, from time to time, pop up shops appear in and around the area and when they do, the fashion bug bites!
I'm not a poncho type of person, but I couldn't resist trying and experimenting with a few new looks here and there, making the most of the last month or so of winter....
