CC week 24 is Reflections
I had an idea about Frannie Frogg reading to herself, picturing in her mind's eye the handsome peacock in the story. It seemed that a reflection would be perfect to convey the idea.
To make it happen, I couldn't get the reflection and the frog lined up in one photo, so I did two separate photos, cut out the frog in that photo and pasted it into the reflection photo.

109156 was delivered in June 1960 and re-engined in 1966 at Burbank (California) with Allison 501-D13D turboprop engines. This is the civil version of the T56 that also propels most C-130's and all P-3's.
156 was withdrawn from use in June 1994 and stored at CFB Trenton. A few years later she started a new carreer in Africa. First in Kenya, then Rwanda and South Africa. She was finally destroyed in Swaziland.

SNCF Alsthom Class CC 6500 1,500V dc, 7,900 hp C-C (monomotor bogies) No.CC 6558, built 1972, at Longueville depot during the AJECTA Festival, 6 May 2023.
A ‘state of the art’ design when built which illustrates the advanced thinking of the SNCF. The Class were intended for 125mph operation on the best rapide trains, such as Le Mistral. They even had ‘preannonce’ cab signalling equipment. 74 were built in 1969-75 and 4 of a dual voltage version (1.5kV DC/25kV AC), Class CC2100, which were converted to DC Class CC 6500 locos in 1995-96. Magnificent locomotives though they were, all were withdrawn by 2007.

Old heavily neglected Moskvich as it was found on the countryside somewhere in one of the Baltic states. It was untouched for over 25 years.
It was found and pulled out of the mud by some classical car enthusiasts. After some technical interventions they managed to get the engine running again.
Here we witness the first test drive.
The Moskvich 401 was an improved model 400. It had a stronger engine.
The 401 shared the body with it's predecessor model 400.
