Although not quite as accomplished as the Welly equivalent there is definitely something about the Matchbox new generation Porsche Cayenne which has struck a chord with me. It does look rather classy in this deep blue metallic colour plus when I add a little bit of black Sharpie pen to the door posts it does add a tiny bit more accuracy.
One of several picked up from various Action stores in France recently where they are sold in Power Grabs boxes and for a ridiculously cheap price too.

Without being too unkind its quite hard to believe this is actually a fully licensed Porsche Cayenne model. I've seen quite a few cheapo unlicensed diecasts of this Porsche which actually look more accurate than this one made by Kaiyu. Its pretty well finished but the there is a drooping look to its stance which makes it look overbodied. Part of an eight vehicle set sold under the RongDa name. Mint and boxed.

Took this shot with a front lens from an old full sized VHS camcorder. I've used this lens for years as a magnifying lens on my desk and it's accumulated a few scratches. When hand held against the open front of my D90 it focuses at about 5 or 6 inches.
