These bucks have been together since birth they will go their separate ways at some point but for now they stay close. They had been browsing in the late afternoon sunshine when one decided to see who had the bigger rack. He may have a bit unhappy because big brother had more growth.

I was working in my yard mowing the lawn when I spotted these amorous lady bugs. They weren't paying attention to me so I was able to grab my camera and snap two extension tubes onto my 100 mm macro lens. I had to shoot hand held and am ok with the results. I've been shooting stationary items for too long and am out of practice with chasing my subject. Here's to observing the world around us and finding treasures everywehre.

Perched like a silent saboteur, this crow wasn’t just looking for food—it was unwittingly pulling off the perfect disruption. In one sharp tug, the satellite signal went down, and a living room full of humans stared at a frozen screen, clueless to the culprit above.

They blamed the weather. They cursed the service. But up on the roof, beneath a flawless sky, the real mischief-maker vanished into the blue, mission accomplished—no motive, no witnesses, just a well-timed peck and a twist of fate.

Sometimes, nature doesn’t just coexist with technology…

It reprograms it.

Explore ..The Caspian Tern fishes by hoving over its fish, folding up and dropping like a rock and completely disappears below the surface of the water, emerging like this covered in water spray. eg. www.pbase.com/woody/image/61932364 IMG_7749

This is a wild Cottontail rabbit that came to my yard in the spring. It looks like he found something to his liking off my tree. I now have a baby rabbit in my yard and he is a handful of cuteness! But pictures are still on cards so will be posted sometime after I go through them. I am spending a lot of time photographing him!

Taken in my back yard in Calgary, Alberta. Thank you for your visit and comments. They are very much appreciated.

Golden Daffodils from my garden, pretty Tulips from the market and a very beautifully white and wild Daisy .... question is... 'what was she going to do with those flowers had I not interrupted this moment?' ~ Debbie KissThePixel2020

Caught in the act! A nimble squirrel dashes through the thatched roof of a hut, clutching its well-earned prize. With eyes wide in determination, it vanishes into the shadows—nature’s own master thief at work.

Caught in the act!! Kramer has yet to master the art of the quick getaway!! Thanks so much for the flowers Kramie!!

Loved the look of this nectar robbing carpenter bee :) He seemed to be watching me, but didn't want to give up the sweets he was finding in the Foxglove.

One of my pesky neighborhood squirrels trying to steal from one of my bird feeders.

on the banks of the river Thames / London

Though my dog is not particularly used to horses, that didn't stop her from reaching her nose under the barb wire to grab a chunk of (dry and crunchy) horse poop. The horse immediately reached down to see what she was doing, and she scooted back post haste. As my dog's parent I am frequently mortified by her public behaviors related to cat poop, racoon poop, and now, horse poop. How can such an elegant pooch have such base desires?

Today was not a good photo day, so many ideas, so badly photographed, you caught me uninspired :(

This original shot was me trying to 'catch' my little Cape White Eyes flying through my sprinkler - epic fail.

So as an alternative to the birds - you get fake fish. Enjoy.
