Leaving the heathland I came upon another person appreciating nature around them.

I was enjoying a chat and a coffee with flickr friend Shaun, and Mellissa was sitting on a bench enjoying the last of the sunshine, i took a few candid shots of her, and then approached her and asked if she would mind if i took more of a 'portrait' of her.....to which she agreed!

I must say she was a lovely girl and very pleasant to talk to - thank you Mellissa! - i hope you get to see your picture, you are very photogenic!

Ritual during Christian baptism

Taken in The Big Western, Manchester.

Had to capture the winter.

While it lasts, that is.

Prior to this all the pictures I taken on this day had completely different colours. More of that early morning blue look which is very lovely but very different.

And suddenly the light was very dramatic and beautiful reflecting off the sea.

I took a number of images quite intensively when the sun decided to come over the bank of clouds and reflect on the water in this amazing way, but in fact the sun only looked like that a short time.

I had a look on the time stamps on the pictures and in fact from start to finish this was 2 minutes.

Which explains something. I have gone into my backyard and seen amazing coloured clouds at sunset, ran in for the camera which might have taken at the most a minute, and when I return the light had completely changed and the moment has passed.

When the sun goes down

During all these season

I say I thought I saw a passerby..."

I love adventurous couples! Alice and Ben were great to work with--so much energy and love!

I hope I didn't scare them when I was climbing trees and lying down on railroad tracks to get the shot. :)
